Although there is no historical evidence that he was ever crucified and the moslems believe he died later in damascus ,I still must comment that your wood of knowledge tree would have been equally a tree of ignorance and have we really progressed that far in two thousand years ?hope you don't get confused with me taking a single point from your rather ambiguous wording that's the kind of stuff that real neurosis are made of.

Interesting thought. I'd like to know where you got that idea, as the tree of knowledge has been off limits to humans since the fall of Adam and Eve.

So, some fundies say that Eden was destroyed in the Flood.
If not, how did the Romans get past the cherabim with the flaming sword to cut the tree down and use it to make the cross?

And were did you get this notion?
If you take the garden of Eden story as history, then once humanity was expelled they could not go back because of the angel guards. So...where did they get the wood from the tree of knowledge [of good and evil]?

The tree is fiction, the cross was just made of trees in the Roman empire.

Where did you find that the tree was from the tree of knowledge? I don't think that is Biblical.

There is just so much wrong with this question. Bad information, and the point is if there is one unclear.

Yes you can say that.
I mean there is no evidence for any claim whatsoever about Jesus, so anything you say is equally valid and respectable.
