Yes, division in the church is not the work of God. It is the strategy being use by Satan, divide and conquer.

As Paul wrote; "I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. "1 Cor 1:10)

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)

The way the whole world is divide on everything so as to disrupt everything so badly doesn't make anyone happy. Specifically though, I'm sure, yes. Not literally harmed. But then I wouldn't want my kids dying let alone killing each other. Protestant and Catholics in Ireland, Catholic on Catholic in Rwanda and what about WWI and II? As to denominations, if you can't get the story staight you don't have a story. Seems like the letter really does kill.
Think what even part of the world united under some sane belief could do. It's more the way religion is still just out of the Dark Ages. Our knowledge should have expanded faster than science and not be dragging and in a defensive position. No progress in the Mid-East, just excuses. The message is wrong, confused and not practiced. Don't even know how to do it. A 18 year old player has more charisma and a scietist has none and is doing better. Excuses we got though.

Well, it most certainly doesn't help! I mean some people actually hate one another over their beliefs! Hatred is not a product of true Christianity! For example: If I say I hate the JEWS and claim to be CHRISTIAN I am in a serious error here! Jews are Gods chosen as well! Really its kinda like Racism! And rascism is totally wrong! Any racist Christian is not a Christian in my opinion. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be filled with such hatred for others regardless of what their religion may be!

I really think you have to look at the doc tern of certain faiths first, such as Mormons, are they Christians because they say Jesus a lot? I don't think so. But say, Baptists and Pentecostals? Well I don't think it bothers God all that much, I mean we are all members of one body, different parts are for different things, I don't think that is just for the individual, I think it goes for the whole church. Pentecostals are crazy and loud, which isn't all that bad, and baptists are a bit more reserved. I think we need both kinds of churches.

mormons arent christians that is sort of a satanic religion even though many say it isnt. but the different things like catholics believe good works yet you could be a christian and go to a catholic church God wont hate you if that's your choice of religion I go to a baptist school in church yet the two are divided on music my church thinks music with a beat is good and my school thinks music with a beat is bad I think it's good. We're praising God be as loud as you want! but my school has the idea that they are holier or something because of the music they listen too which comes back to your question I dont think he's neccesarily angry with us but many churches have the idea of the way they do things makes them holier and that isnt true they're becoming like the pharisees and sadducees worrying more on the way to worship than actually doing it.

Gotta say that we hurt God anyway, and that's because of our sin.

As for the division bit, well, you do the research. Whatever comes closest to the grace theology that is taught in the Bible *cough*presbyterian*cough* is what you should go for.

Steer clear of Mormonism. What with the "dominion of other planets" and "God was human and then became a god" stuff, it reads more like a sci-fi series. Plus, none of the landscapes match up, none of the artifacts are recognizable, and none of the events, the great wars and such, are in any form of recorded history outside of the Book of Mormon.

There's a documentary about it on YouTube. Go find it.

Christians are (and were) never divided. Christians are christians, and always share common beliefs (as in from A to Z), so there's no reason for them to be divided. The reason of all the "fights" and "arguments" you are saying is - - everybody is claiming to be "christians" without even understanding the true meaning of the word. Christian means "adherent to Christ". Everything that Christ asked us to do, we must do. Then, we are Christians. I will leave the assesment to you, Brother. Take the 3 biggest & most popular religious organization in the world today - - Catholic, Protestant, and another one of your choice, Test them from doctrine to doctrine and you will find out their differences. Then, compare the last from the Biblical christians.

You can get back to me if you wish, brother. GOD BLESS

When the word Christians used I tend to take out the denominations as they are man made religions. If a person truly has accepted Christ as their savior then they are saved. I tend to wonder why add on things are put forth by others who claim to be Christians. As a Christian I follow the Bible, I do as I am supposed to do,yet i get slammed because I do not speak in tongues. John chapter three verses 1-21 tell us exactly what it takes to be born again and saved. Don't tell me Jesus is wrong, he was speaking to Nicodemus when he explained how we can come to him.
We are supposed to be the body of Christ,if we cannot get along we are damaging the body. Each of us has a place in the body of Christ and we each serve a certain purpose. That's what is supposed to be taking place.

No. We are doing God;s will. Many people will say that I am being 'devisive'. Would you think that?

The Bible says to seperate ourselves from those that refuse to repent of false doctrine and practices. The Catholic Church teaches a false gospel, so we seperate by biblical command.

I would say that, out of those you've listed, the Baptists are closest to the truth, the Pentecostals, Catholics, then Mormons (very wrong).

Yes.

God gives us the ability to choose how we treat people. Even though the amount of time a person spends on Earth is minuscule compared to eternity God does not like us hurting either each other or ourselves.
