atheists: what's your favorite "guilty pleasure"?

too me "guilty pleasure" & "sin" are basically the same thing. or maybe "guilty pleasure" would be a subcategory of "sin". but sin is too religiously oriented, & that leaves so many smart atheists leaving dumb answers of "i don't believe in sin" when i ask what your favorite sin would be. thus, i ask this question, in hopes for better answers from non-believers.

i hope to the god that you all don't believe in, that there are only a select few fuckwits like Yeow Teng K who ask on what not to believe. of coarse i'm refering to a "higher power". a god/goddess or whatnot. & my point is not to blast any atheists for what they do believe in, it's just a simple question!

I see a guilty pleasure as something we know will hurt us (physically etc.) but we still do it because the pleasure outweighs the risk..

For instance:

Eating sweets will harm us it we do it in excess and to often.. But having a day of junk food junkyness every once in a while is oh so pleasurable..

Staying out really late and not getting the sleep our bodies need is a risk.. But we all have stayed out late enjoying something from time to time..

My favorite guilty pleasure is chocolate, it makes me break out and I know its bad for me but every once in a while I go nuts and have loads of it.. The whole time I am eating it I am savoring the flavor and texture while knowing in the back of my mind I will have a acne break-out the next day and not caring in the least...

I'm not sure what kind of answers you are looking for...you say that "guilty pleasure" and "sin" are the same thing and then you insult us by saying we give dumb answers....when the truth is we DON'T believe in sin....I've done nothing to be guilty of...but I do like to indulge in ice cream with hot fudge sauce.....

I know this sounds a little strange. But my "guilty pleasure" is eating lots of ice cream.

I am slight lactose intolerant. But more importantly, I try to keep in shape to do my long distance runs. Ice cream is not health food or even good for me!

Actually, I don't have any guilty pleasures, because I attach no guilt to pleasure. My guilt-- what there is of it-- is attached to life events which I regret, or stupid things I did in the past. Pleasures should never involve guilt.

Nutter Butter cookies dipped in milk. I even hide this dirty little secret from my kids, because I don't ever purchase pre-packaged cookies for them (I bake, they get homemade).

If they knew what I do after the lights go out when I can sneak to the kitchen, they'd shun me.
