evidently this world population "clock" says that there is an abortion almost every second(worldwide).

it just makes no sense to me.
most americans sincerely think that abortions are the more moral thing to do in certain cirmustances. These aren't people who "love death" or "hate god"; you have to be careful before you slanderously question the humanity of people who are pro-choice.

If 23,000,000 million have died so far this year, that would mean we have certianly killed at least 200,000,000 babies in the last 50 years. If god gave a crap, why wasn't he more clear about it in the bible?
It's so silly to think that "thou shalt not kill" covers this one.
do you think that god would do nothing while humans killed hundreds of millions of babies because they didn't technically understand if god really meant not to kill unwanted zygotes as well in this verse?

If god cared about these lives, he would do something about it.

Do people really think we need 200,000,000 unwanted children? These unwanted children are much more likely to turn to drugs, gangs, and violence. The sharp drop in crime in the 90's can be directly traced back to the legalization of abortions in the 70's.

You are correct in your asking ' if God really cared would he not make his commands more clear?'. Would you be willing to consider what the Bible TEACHES about abortion? First, God made, and sustains us(Acts 17:28;14:15-17) He has done this in a way that makes life enjoyable. But to enjoy life to the full, we must obey his commands.(Isaiah 48:17,18) Second, God wants us to have respect for our lives, and others. That is clearly shown at-Gen.4:3-11. Thousands of years later,Jehovah God gave his people Isreal commands so they could serve him in a better way. You are familiar with "You must not murder"(Deut.5:17) This showed the Isrealites how God values human life, and that people must value the life of others. 'But what about the life of an unborn child?' Well, according to the mosaic law 'causing' the death of an unborn child was wrong, and worthy of death.(Exodus 21:22,23; Psalm 127:3) These scriptures show how Jehovah God feels about abortion. Rom 15:4 states that "all things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the scriptures we might have hope". So they apply to us today. The Bible also says that we are living in the "last days" of this system and God will soon take action on the behalf of those who strive to uphold his principles.(2 Tim.3:1-5;Daniel 2:44).

Nature never intended for every fertilized egg to live a full life. In humans as in animals, more are created and born than are supposed to survive to adulthood to reproduce. If none died, we would have overpopulated the earth a long time ago. When humans found ways to delay death through the use of better medicine and sanitary conditions, we tipped the scales. Nature must compensate when there are too many humans. This is accomplished through war (fighting over territory and resources), famine, new and/or drug resistant diseases to replace the ones we cured, and natural disaster which affects larger population areas. Birth control and abortion are two ways humans can help control their own numbers, but those opposed to it don't see the big picture. We are only hurting ourselves if we don't control our population.

If people cared about lives, they would do something. Why blame God for the decisions that selfish people make? Do you really believe those having abortions care if it's morally right? They do it because they got themselves in a bind and they want the easy way out. Nobody wants to be responsible for their own actions and society has allowed this to happen. How can you feel morally wrong if you don't even believe it's a life that is being aborted? Everyone tries to justify their behavior instead of listening to God.

God Bless.

Ridiculous. Babies aren't even CLOSE to born that fast. Take this into perspective.

60 seconds X 60 minutes X 24 hours X 365 days = 31,536,000 people killed every year.

No way that's happening via abortions.

I used to guard an abortion clinic sometimes it was sad sometimes it saved life but the most important thing that came to my mind was that aside from personal freedom of morality those that had unwanted pregnancies could have avoided their problem with the knowledge of abstinence .
the world is far to overpopulated to force the conclusion of so many mistakes and to kill the mother of three for the birth of an orphan is unconscionable.

I guess that rape, murder, and every other crime would be okay with God as well because he is not directly interfering with those crimes? Killing a zygote is still killing because a human life is developing. Zygotes and fetuses are simply another stage in life, just like infancy, childhood, puberty, adulthood, and old age.

Oh yes, "that's so silly to think that thou shalt not kill covers this one". I can't believe anyone would say that. It is a human life and it is killed. How could it be any plainer?

By the way, I live by choice; not fear, not by the ravings of a group, but my own personal choice.
