Make them a photo collage. Help them remember why they feel in love and got married in the first place. It will also make you more grateful for having parents (in good and bad times) who are still together.

My parent's 50th is coming up. I am sending them both a note each dated an year from 1957 up to 2007. I just write a thing I remembered about them and made a list. I got blank thank you cards at Big Lots for 3 bucks per 20.
the notes go like this:
1957
I love MOMMY,
Thank YOU for those ice cream cones at the whittier dime store.
love brad
1958
I love DADDY,
Thank YOU for showing me how to cut a box and make a fort.
love, brad
My mom has called me crying with joy.... go buy THAT!
And you could:
Clean the house! Make a meal. Take out the trash.
I still do this when I go over to my parent's home. They appreciate it VERY much! I always hear about it from my aunt or brothers and it is FREE! It is also the right thing to do after ALL the cleaning up after me they have done.

Put together a nice photo album with pictures from over the years. You don't need a fancy album for it to look pretty. Things you might have laying around the house might work like ribbon, lace, cute buttons, etc.
At the front of the album write down what their years long commitment has meant to you as a daughter, person, woman. They will appreciate some words from the heart.

A cake? dinner? A poem you have written about how much they mean to you (That would be marvelous!! Or try just a list of stuff you love about them. Make a card and put your list in it. Mom and dad will love it! You also might give them a coupon book of "chores" they can ask you to do. For instance, have a coupon for washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen, have one for taking out garbage and recycling, one for cleaning the bathroom. Three or four coupons like that are great to receive. (if you are parents) My kids are older now and buy me gifts, but those coupon books were the BEST!! Be creative; have fun!

You didn't say how old you or they are, or what anniv they are having. But at our 25th anniv, both of our kids were grown and gone, but both came home for the big celebration. The 4 of us ordered pizzas and sat around the table eating and drinking wine and TALKING. It was the best. They let us know how much they appreciated all we had done. We reminisced about the vacations, the squabbles, the fashions, etc. Too much pizza, too much wine, but lots of great memories.

Maybe you could do something for them, like cook dinner for their anniv. Tell them to go and get their nice duds on and then fix them a nice romantic dinner. Don't ask them about the menu. Ask a sibling or your friend's mom or ask on Yahoo! Answers. You know, candles and music and stuff. Then ask for the car keys! Ha!

I was broke last February, and for Valentine´s Day for my then fiance, I made him a card. I got pretty red paper, and cut out a white heart shape on the front in doil (spelling?). Anyway, in the card, I wrote the lyrics to a love song that was in Deutsch (my husband is German), and he loved it-it was the thought that counts.
Find a song that was popular the year your parents married, and do what I did. I think they will be surprised that you took the time to do this for them, and they will love whatever you give them.

Do you have any siblings. You could could offer to baby sit for the weekend.
Or you could prepare a lovely candle light dinner for them. Cook their favorite food, remove all stress and anything that could remind them of stress and leave. Give them the house for a few hours.
Whatever it is you choose to do your parents will be pleased just because you thought about them

Why don't you try making them a nice, simple dinner. Have them eat in the candlelight and put some romantic music on. Be their waiter and serve them a simple, yet elegant dinner. For dessert try making something that they like. Even if the food isn't that great, I'm sure they'll love it, good luck!

I would suggest a picture collage. Use pictures of them throughout the years. Wedding, birth of the children, fun times..etc. U can use any size frame..you might even have something around the house. Good Luck
