I have 3 days to come up with a good idea for my tattoo. I have decided to get a dragonfly but I dont know what else. I want to incorporate my name into it somehow, and I want to customize it, make it unique. Alot of people have dragonfly tattoos and I want mine to be different. HELP ME WITH IDEAS!!!!

I also need ideas of where to put it?
Im overweight so im very limited as to where to put it. I already have one on my left ankle

well i have two dragon flies but to make yours unique I think you should have the dragon fly flying and leave a mark from where he is flying but that mark should be your name and him flying to a water lily. are you going to do it color or black and white?

I am not exactly a size two either, and I have two on my left ankle, one on my right ankle, and one on my hip. It also depends on what your name is...the artist, (or you if you feel like messing with the design) can monogram your name maybe into the wings, or your initials even. You could also, instead of having the artist just color it in...use shapes as well, like maybe on the body segments have a star, or a heart, or something like that!! You can also ask an artist for advice, tell him/her what you are thinking and they can draw it up for you....Good Luck and Happy Inking!!

Amanda, simply take your idea of a dragonfly and tell your artist your idea, let him/her create the artwork for it. That way you get a piece of original work and the artist gets to express their artistic ability.

Don't take this offensive in any respect however : If a few one else already had it , and also you noticeable it in a photograph . Then its typically no longer that designated. A few others can have it , In that case if it used to be in a photograph. Not being impolite , that is simply my opinion. Sorry if this did not aid
