I don't wear make-up or flashy clothes. I just focus on my studies. Boys/men stare at me when I walk by and they try to lean into me when I walk by. Even older men stare at me. Girls stare at me like I'm going to steal their boyfriends. Maybe because I am the shy, quiet type--boys like me. Maybe I should be more confident and assertive.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Beauty can be a blessing or a curse. Don't change your life to try to live up to other peoples expectations or attitudes. Continue your life exactly as you are. Find yourself a really smart, nerdy and most important, Cute boy friend and the girls will feel sorry for you while they date the football star. In the future you will be living the high life with your Nerdy millionaire and they will be living in a trailer with their Gas pumping drunk boyfriend. You have plenty of time. Keep up your studies and you will be the big winner.
PS; Older men need love to. And if you can't have it you can at least look!

1) You wouldn't be shy or quiet if you were very attractive since guys would've all approached you already and polished your social skills
2) You're most likely overrating yourself and think of glances as stares, unless you go to a university or college where many guys are desperate, the chances of them liking you aren't likely.
3) Boys/men probably aren't in love with you, you're overthinking things.

Just finish your studies as you state. You will be so far ahead of those who didn't that your attraction will be way more than now and then you can concentrate on finding the person or persons to fill your life.

staring at you doesn't mean they love you. you could have lettuce in your teeth or toilet paper in your shoe. i think your seeing things. i've heard of teen boys get onto a city bus and swear that every girl is staring at him with lust - sound familiar?
unless they say they love you, or talk to you - people looking at you with a glance isn't anything.
as far as leaning? crowed hallway?
me thinks it's all in your head, especially when you say love.
