Schatzy??? Wait 'til you get the dog, tho'. I swear they each have personalities to fit their names! Good luck!

I had a very awesome mini schnauzer named Elvis (weighed 10lbs). He was black and totally the best dog I have ever owned. He died tragically when someone intetionally ran him over right in front of my house.
I now have a wonderful mini named Molly.(also black, weighs 17 lbs) She was a rescue, and already knew her name so we couldnt change it.
But I wanted to call her Mylee (like Hanna Montana).
Good luck and you wont regret getting a mini. They make great best friends.

Grecia!!, my dog was a schnauzer and he was named Greco, so your pet can be named the same as mine but for a female.
In spanish means Grece.

For female dogs, I think names like Princess or Dutchess are cute. But, if you want more of a normal name, I think Molly and Chelsea are cute.

How about these:
Bella
Lulu
Minka
Trixie
Claudette (or Dettie for short)
...or maybe a variation on your YA name:
Pixy or Pixie - I think that would sound cute!
Schnauzers are really cute!
