Sometimes shyness can be quiet appealing. I hate players, they are so fake and are only looking out for themselves. In the long run you really are hurting yourself by not being open. What would happen if you being someone that you aren't and you end up falling for someone and they think you are this total different person not only are you playing with their emotions but also your and the end result is still rejection, hurt, and having low self esteem. Just because you are shy doesn't mean that you are dumb or you don't matter. You matter just as much as MR. Stud muffin or MS. All That. You have the right thing to offer that someone special. Just be who you are, don't worry about rejection, it does build character. When you start looking at other people for who they really are on the inside and not just their appearance then you see that sometimes they too are walking in rejection and low self esteem. Be proud of who you are, and know that God made you the way HE did for reasons and the right person will come along in HIS perfect timing. He's got the right person just for you.

So let me ask...You play this game, the girl falls head over heels for you and wants to move on to a more serious relationship...At what point do you take off the Superman costume and introduce her to Clark Kent?...
So now she's thinking, "Wow, I fell in love with a liar, should I believe anything else he has said or done?"... Be yourself, that's who is going to show through in the end. Why try and be somebody you're not?...Be you, be honest, there's a lady out there who will love you just as your are...

Go for it, but what will you do when women reject you anyways. Sooner or later they will be able to see right through you, and if they are looking for truth in a relationship you will be finished.
On the other hand, if you meet up with other players all will go very well faking your way through relationship after relationship. If that is all you are looking for, you will be able to achieve it. Enjoy!

Regardless of what you are, if you don't be yourself, you'll never find a real woman to love. Having a reputation as a player will only give you naiive or player girls, whom you probably won't learn much from. Won't it eventually get boring, going from one person to the next?
Women like it when men are honest about themselves. If you don't reveal your true self, you won't strengthen it, and you won't learn to handle it. Also, you might get too comfortable with this position of being fake -- it might become part of who you are. You have to consider, do you want this?

It is going to be devastating for you when you realize that you have fallen, and the girl is actually in love with the "not you" that you have presented to her. How then will you live that "not you" part?
Try the "trick " of presenting yourself as yourself, the shy you. Some women actually fall for the shy type. Then you will see that your concept of boys attracting women will change. That not all girls want the rugged, athletic type of boys. That you are the boy next door that is actually the one some girls would want to share a life with.
Be happy.

Wow, how sad not to let anyone know who the real you is... Man, how can you go through life not letting your own light shine regardless of how dim it may be? Humph!! Whenever you grow up and realize who you really are and accept it then you can have a real relationship with someone. But pretending to be someone you are not... is not cool at all. -- what misery... believe me there is someone out there who will love you for you... hopefully you havent run them off with the fake act of yours.

I would rather show my shyness and then come out of it on my own. As soon as I get to know the person then then I get over being shy around the person. It doesn't take me long to come out of it though. To be honest if I was you I would show your true self and not hide it.

They never get a chance to reject you ... or accept you. You beat them to the punch, if you aren't being yourself.
You're "free" to be a player? Sounds to me like you've built yourself quite the little prison.
If you don't trust yourself to be able to handle a little hurt (like everyone goes through in love relationships) ... then yeah, I guess it's better.
Good luck finding someone who'll never find out who you are.

So the question is how long can you keep the act up for? Most women can sense these things. In fact it quite charming if a man is shy .

Well its fake. It isn't you but if you can try to be like you want to be then it can be. Just conquer your fear and let it come easy. They can se through that facade quick. You should always live your life like you want to be and it will happen.
