I have never done a shot (of alcohol). I enjoy wine, margaritas, and daquiri's as well as a few "girlie" beers. What is a good shot for a first-timer? And what are some good websites to learn about shots. I googled it, but coulnd't find much. Thanks!

Hawaiian Surfer on Acid
Equal parts:
Jagermiester
Malibu Rum (coconut rum)
Pineapple Juice
Shake on ice to serve chilled

Good beginner is Jell-O Shooters ...try this recipe -lot better than taking a "shot"!
1 package watermelon jell-o
1 cup boiling water
1 cup Malibu® coconut rum
Mix hot water and jello. Add rum. Pour into 2 ounce cups. Serve after the jello has set.

Most places will make a chocolate cake shot. It is a baby shot and really delicious. It is made generally with creme de cacao, vodka, and kalhua and is served with a lemon slice on the side. Drink it down and suck the lemon. Tastes like devil's food cake and I can't explain why but the lemon is important. Swear. So yummy.

well i guess i'd say malibu. but really there is no "good shot for a first timer", the first time you have a shot, you will think your mouth is on fire if its a strong one (40 % alcohol), or you will think, ewwwww holy ****. shots are not a good idea. i have always opined that once a person starts shots, they're on their way to becoming an alcoholic.

idrink.com is a great website. I also recommend puckers, oatmeal cookie shots are great, jolly rancher is good too!
