Drink plenty of water! ( to balance out the salt you just ate) What is the crisis? If the calories are scaring you, then add some extra exercise to burn them off and eat right tomorrow. It will be okay, really. One slip-up is not the end of the world. Maybe get some very low-cal, delicious food in the house like frozen mixed berries or blueberries for munching on for the next time. Good luck!

First calm down. Then, don't eat anything more until you are hungry. Then eat a healthy, nutritious, low calorie meal. DON'T freak out. This won't kill you. It would be better if you didn't repeat this particular behavior. Get some aerobic exercise, such as taking a long walk. But don't just do it today, do it 5 to 7 times a week. If you are already getting regular exercise and eating well, then just relax, take that walk, and ask yourself why you ate that bag of chips. That type of eating is often a reaction to some emotional stress or boredom. Do you do things like this often? If it is a one-time thing it's not of as much concern as if you have regular eating binges. That would be a problem. If that is the case you should try to get some support for healthy eating and life style. Weight Watchers is one program that addresses both issues and provides peer support, so if you need it, I'd recommend that group. There are probably lots of others but I am not familiar with them.

uhh well if you a upset with yourself that you had a whole bag of potato chips go out and jog to burn off the calories. So you don't do this again limit yourself. Put some chips in a small bowl so you don't eat as many.

Ok, first, don't panic and worry. You can reverse this!
Drink tons of water. I'm talking about 10-12 glasses a day. (What you might feel tonight and tomorrow is thirsty from all the salt on the chips)
The other important thing is to NOT starve yourself tomorrow to try and make up for it. Just avoid chips, pastas, rice and alcohol for the next 3 days and eat healthy amounts of fruits vegs and lean protein.
Remember the water!
****I am editing this to include how I've noticed how many MEAN PEOPLE responded to your question with suggestions that you go throw up or eat more. WTF, people! Aren't we here to help each other, not act like bad asses because we're not face to face. *******! I hope you all read this!

Don't worry about it. Everyone does that. Just workout hard for the rest of the week, eat right so that you are less likely to binge out again, and remember how unhappy you are right now for the next time you want to eat a bunch of junk. No worries. :-)

Don't listen to the idiots who are telling you to make yourself throw up or eat another.
Go to the gym or just don't pig out & eat healthy foods for the rest of the day. Everyone deserves a little indulgence sometimes :)

Drink some water, then go for a nice long walk, and then have a light calorie dinner or lunch where ever you may be at this time.

There is nothing that you can do about it now. Maybe the OMG should have be thought about before you opened the bag.
