It is very important to know the Bible. The Word reveals the Savior to us. From Genesis to Revelation, it is all about Jesus.

Revelation 1:3 promises a blessing to you for just reading the Book of Revelation.

Knowing the Bible increases our faith as we walk out our Salvation with fear and trembling. The good part is whatever the Holy Spirit begins in us the Holy Spirit is more than able to finish. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things and brings things to our mind when we need them. The Holy Spirit purifies and refines. The Holy Spirit comforts. How wonderful is the Holy Spirit within me!

Rev 1:3 is, of course, speaking of the book of Revelation.

Part of your (wandering) question seems to refer to Mat 24:14

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.

Notice it says "and then the end shall come", not "and then, right away, without any more time passing, the end will come". We know the end will not come *before* Mat 24:14 is fulfilled, but we cannot say with any certainty how much time will pass *after* that verse is fulfilled before "the end shall come".
