The challenge of most new believers is they can't grasp the concept of being created.

There is a difference between man's law and God's law.

Man's law can be broken without consequences. ex: You can run a stop sign and if no one sees you, there is no penalty.

God's law is enforced if no one sees us or not. Think of jumping off a cliff. If no one sees you, you still get hurt, right?

The secong thing I am having trouble with is the "against God " part. Think of a two year old who was put into a fenced in back yard and told by his Dad not to leave.

Question: Why did the Dad put up the fence and make the rule?

A: It was out of love and the father wanted to protect the child.

When a two year old leaves the back yard, the intent isn't to go against the father as much as it is to get the ball he was playing with that went over the fence.

The question isn't whether we will sin. We will.
The question isn't whether the rule was in place for our benefit. It was for our benefit. "God made the Sabbath for man and not man for the Sabbath"
The question isn't whether there will be consequences for not following the Father's rules. There are.

The question is: Are you growing up in the Lord?

Babies aren't expected to do anything and they need to be taught everything. If you are waking up each day to with wondering what your loving Father wants you to learn so you can have life MORE abundantly, then approach these questions from that prospective.

The most important thing you can do is learn to "hear and respond to His voice." He is "dancing for joy over you in song!" each step you take.

Falling on your bottom is a part of learning to walk. Crying once you have fallen isn't going to help. Getting up and taking the next step is.

As far as answering your specific question, I would change it. Pray to find your wife and get married. Then when you masterbate like most guys, you can picture you wife in you mind if she wasn't in the mood .....which happens often once you are married for a year or two.

Rom.1:27, And likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman, Burned in their lust one toward another mem with men...you still have time to accept Our Lord Jesus Christ he can restore your sanity, but if you keep that, look out Girl, the stampede will run you down and jump all in your stuff.

The answer to your question can't be "kinda." That is a political answer like, "I didn't have sex with that girl."

If you want to know the Catholic Church feels about masturbation, check out their response to homosexuals having sex with their alter boys on church property while functioning as a priest. We have countless, well documented accounts of how the church responses: Historically, the priest's integrity is maintained and the victim gets nothing.

If raping a boy has no real consequences, then understand that masturbation will not appear on the Catholic Church's radar screen.

Kind of.

Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).

The Catholic Church recognizes the power of sex when it teaches, "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul."

Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person. A chaste person's body and spirit lives in unity and opposes any behavior that would impair that unity.

Masturbation is contrary to the human dignity of the person, anyone about whom the person has lustful thoughts, and the dignity of human sexuality.

With love in Christ.
