Hello! well they do start nesting two days before like the person above said...and on the day of the puppies birth...she will start panting like crazy...at first you think she just wants water but really she's in labor! so get her a comfortable space and get ready to see some puppies being born...good luck and congrats!
ps. the milk does not come that same day..it can come a while before, so if you see your dog with milk..it doesnt mean she will be in labor that day!!

I believe their gestation period last about 63 days. They start nesting but you have to be careful because when she is ready she will try to hide to give birth. She will also be restless when the time comes. Try searching the internet for more through information.

the gestation is 63 days
they will begin trying to make a nest and panting. keep track of her temperature normal temp is 101 but just before labor starts the temp will drop to about 98

She will start nesting about a day or 2 before...hours before she gies birth milk will leak from her tets...
