How can you stop the messages poping up on the computer screen asking you if you want to, "Validate Windows" without technically validating it?

u have to buy a windows xp cd it fix it

If you have a legal copy of Windows it makes no sense whatsoever not to Validate it. It will stop working within 30 days if you don't.

Not only that, but you can't get the Service Packs, Windows Media Player, etc. without it being validated.

there's programs out there to bypass product activation. I don't know how legal they are. I know I've returned software that wants to 'phone home' because if I paid $200 for a program, the thing better work without making me jump through hoops.

I've never activated Windows, and I've been buying it since version 2.

You have to validate the installation of the software. If you do not, after a period of time the system will lock you out.
