I have xbox 360 with HD-DVD add-on but, the 360 HD-DVD does not have HDMI output.

I also have Carter cable box but, it does not have DVI output. It only has USB output.

*What do I need or what can I do? Do I need to buy other cables?

Since your Xbox 360 is not the elite with the HDMI port, then the best connection that you can connect to your TV is VGA or Component HD cables.

If you don't have a DVI source, you cannot use the HDMI to DVI cable.
