Was it just me or was yesterday's race at Loudon one of the most boring ones in recent memory. Im not sure if its the COT thats causing this or possibly it was just the track. Just curious what the rest of you thought.

How did you think it was boring? I mean it wasnt as eventful as some of the other races, but Ward Burton blew an engine or something on the first lap, Carl Edwards had pit road trouble, Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, and Clint Bowyer had problems on pit road as well. Also the last few laps were great, with Jeff Gordon battling Truex Jr. and Hamlin, and then Jeff getting into Hamlin's back bumper on the last straightaway, and racing to the finish, and then Kurt Busch spinning and hitting the wall on the last lap, and still crossing the finish line. I think it was just kind of the track.. I like the COT somewhat, as all the finishes have been great.. All the margins of victory were under 2 seconds, actually its like 1.27 seconds.

Everyone is always putting NHIS down. I've been there a few times and every time the race was exciting. Maybe that is because I went to the fall race which is the first race in the Chase.
I think what has made the last few races boring is the TNT coverage. Wally and Bill Webber are SOOOOOOOOOO boring!!! They almost never have anything intelligent or insightful to say.

No, it's not the COT, Loudon has always been boring, but it's in a prime market , as NASCAR calls it.

SEEMS LIKE LOUDON TURNS INTO A PARADE EVERY TIME,IT'S BETTER WITH NEW PROGRESSIVE BANKING,BUT COULD USE MORE ACTION.TNT'S COVERAGE DOESN'T HELP ANY EITHER, YOU COULD ALWAYS FIND SIDE BY SIDE SOMEWHERE BUT WHEN IT'S FOR 10TH THRU 14TH,WHO REALLY CARES?AT LEAST CARS KEPT WAKING ME UP BLASTING DOWN FRONT STRETCH,AND WHEN THE PEOPLE NEXT TO LEAVE EARLY BECAUSE THEY'RE BORED,YOU CAN STRETCH OUT A BIT.

I have to agree... I love nascar and I dont miss a race, but I think the track just lacks any kind of history, or uniqueness. Its just kind of blah... I agree, New Hampshire is not a real drama filled track either... I cant even think of much to say about it, but I agree it was not the most exciting race of the year. I just thought it was me... Good thing they are going to Daytona this week!!!

Let's see, 20 lead changes among 11 drivers, not too many wrecks or cautions, last half-dozen laps were a nail-biting three-way battle that came down to the wire. What does it take for you folks to find a race interesting? Your favorite driver winning, I assume?

No, it was great short track racing. Gordon came from the back of the pack and almost won! It was good to see Hamlin win and Dale Jr stayed up front all day. Maybe Tony Jr needs to stay away little longer? JK, lol

Compared to the past, its a little better, when it was flat with no progressive banking.

Thats just what you usually get when your on a pretty much flat oval at higher rates of speed. You cant bump as much like Martinsville, therefore, you just got to bide your time to make a pass.

Dang this was one of the better ones in the past 3 or 4 events.
