If you are in shape to race running two 5Ks a week apart is plenty of time to recover. The race is only 3 miles. Be sure to cool down and stretch after the race. Run easy the next 2 days. The first race will not affect the second race.

It really does matter how good of shape your in. When I was in the army I had to run 5ks at least 2 a week.

It depends on how much your currently run. I think a week is plenty of time to recover from a 5k.

Depends on your current level of training and how much effort you put into the Jul 7 run. I doubt that you can put out max effort on both without being disappointment.

If your approach is just to finish, you'll do fine.

Good LUck

A week is plenty of time to recover as long as you don't push yourself too hard training the week between them

yeah you should be fine... i run for my school and we have like 3 meets a week sometimes. if you're not up to it after the first one though, don't worry about it, there'll be other races! Good Luck!!!

If you are in good shape, a week's rest in between is fine.
