Should I cut hair on my Pomeranian cross?

Question

Hi, I have a rescue doggy who appears to be a black pomeranian crossbreed.
Should I get the groomer to cut his hair on his face, to look more like a pom? Do poms have to do this? Any suggestions? Here is Pikaboo's picture ;-)

I know, he doesn't look pom in this picture...his nose looks yorkie, but the professional (world competive) groomer said pom, I guess because of the texture and overall shape of his coat?

Cute dog, but doesn't look pom to me. Looks more like a terrier mix like the other person said. I personally think the bangs are cute on a dog like that. If you were to cut them back too far he'd look a little silly and chunker. Have them brush it forward and take about 1/2 inch off so he basically has some parted bangs. I would keep the corners of the eyes cut down to stop eye infection and to also stop hair pokeing him in the eye. Perhaps neaten his head up by rounding it more so it's not so scraggy. Cute dog.

I really can not see any pom in your dog, Even his ears,tail, face and hair do not look pom either. He looks to be a terrier cross. I could be wrong, but I see no pom in your cute little dog.
I would take him to a groomer and give him a trim. I am sure he would be more comfortable and he will be easier for you to keep from becoming matted between groomings.

sorry but I don't see the pom in it looks like a terrier mix.
I would have it groomed and fixed pretty.
