The answer is NO. Just wait a while and see where the relationship goes. Don't lower yourself that way. It is the man's job to propose not the woman's.

Absolutely. There is nothing wrong with a woman proposing to a man. My ex-boyfriend's sister proposed to her boyfriend. It is not traditional, but there is nothing wrong with it. Sometimes the woman just has to make the first move, or she will be forever waiting on the guy.

Yes. However, the only way to know for sure, though, if he REALLY wants to marry you is to wait for him to ask. Also, I'd really miss not having an engagement ring myself - not because I'm materialistic at all, but I love the symbolism of the guy giving an engagement ring as a promise to wed, when he asks....

Don't do it!! My friend proposed to her now ex-husband. He was really bummed out because he wanted to propose and do something nice and she took that away from him. Also if he is not planning it or thinking about it himself then I would be worried that maybe he isn't the one. I think this is one "favor" you don't want to do for him. This is the biggest decision of your lives and you have made up your mind it is now time to wait for him to make up his. There is something to be said about the evolutionary development of the human race. Men are traditionally the hunters and if they don't get to make the final kill I think many men whether they can admit it or not would feel cheated.

I think so , I know someone who proposed to her boyfriend and now they are married, and have a baby! It takes a lot of guts, but kudos!

my byfrnds now exwife popped the question to him. gave him a ring too.
now adays anything goes. just make sure you think he's ready to be asked. some guys might freak and run when you do it.

it's not usual. but my cousin proposed to her husband, they've been married for a few years and just had their first child and they seem very happy.
