I have a Bishon Frise and she sleeps alot more than my neighbor's dog! (whos a golden retriever!)

It's a natural habbit of canines from their ancestry when they were wolves. Wolves sleep a lot to conserve energy.

With such little information provided it is impossible to even guess why your dog sleeps more than your neighbors dog.

I can make wild guesses: you are a boring person and put everyone to sleep.

Is your Bishon very active while she's awake? Is she a puppy, or very old dog?

It depends on the dogs age and activity... Some dogs just have a laid back personality... It really depends on your lifestyle

sorry but that's like saying why does children sleep or need more sleep than others.
AGe, raising,breed are just a few reasons.
Or yours can be sick and not feeling well

som dogs have higher enery levels so they dont get tired as easily as other dogs... or some dogs r just lazy.
