I had a dream that my grandmother and I were crossing a very narrow white bridge across a wide river and it was very dark out. We were halfway across the bridge making our way to a ship when we saw a huge wave coming at us at a fast speed. My grandmother and I quickly hugged each other, but when the wave came closer to us it turned into mist.

Water usually represents emotion in dreams. A narrow bridge could mean that there's only one way to cross. You tried to avoid the emotion, the water down below, by crossing the narrow bridge. The Darkness means you can't really see where you're going, you're walking blind. The wave came which means it didn't work and the emotion came anyway. When you hugged each other(maybe shared something with each other) the wave of emotion was no longer scary anymore and turned into a mist, much more manageable.

This sounds like a dream from the Lord. The narrow white bridge represents you two walking a narrow walk of the righteous and you are close to where God wants you to be. Ship represents a transportantion waiting to take you to your next destination or level in the Lord. The huge wave you saw coming represents the judgement of God which is coming up on the world. There will great turmoil, chaos, and destruction. The reason the wave turn into mist is because when this time comes you will find favor with God and not be harmed at all.

The White Bridge is life's path. You and your grandmother are walking life's path together.
The ship is heaven, the final destination of life.
The darkness only warns of the ominous danger.
The wave is death and so is the mist.
Basically your dream interpretation is this.
You love your grandmother very much. You love spending time with her and talking with her. As you both are traveling together through life you know that there will be a separation at some point through death. It's scary and terrifying, but because the final destination is heaven, when death comes it's peaceful and gentle. Your embrace also shows that you will be there for her even to the end and that not even death can separate your love for each other.

This is not a foreshadowing dream. Just a dream of realization so that you don't take your grandmother for granted. Being the tender hearted person you are, you wouldn't be able to live with yourself if you did.
