She dreamt that I told her I was getting married, and she said my skin looked darker than it really is. I'm 23, is she afraid of losing me in a way? what does the darker skin mean?

When something is dark it represents the unknown. It sounds like her feminine side is intergrating with her masculine side and she is venturing into an unknown self. I say her because in our dreams everything that is in the dream is an aspect of yourself. The fact that she was dreaming that it was you that was getting married would indicate that there is a part of herself that is more noticable in you then in herself which is allowing the balacnce of these energies.

I really would need more information on this dream. But getting married can represent coming into unity and one accord with destiny or something of great importance. Biblically it would represent getting ready and being prepared for the return of Christ. Also, having darker skin represent people's spiritual perspective being changed where color, race, creed, or ethnicity does not matter.

Maybe she just dreamt of the day you are going to tell her.(If you aren't already married...)
It's happened to me before, I dream of whole days and then it happens! It just stays vague but when someone says something or does something I recognize from the dream, it triggers it back into memory.

In the dream book it says that one that looks darker then in life means that one is in danger.

Interpreting dreams literally is pretty much impossible. I've come to regard the majority of my dreams as nothing more than a "screensaver" while my subconscious sorts through a load of stuff.

She feels a separation from you, and the darkness could mean that she feels if you do take a hubby or move on with your life that you and her relationship will falter just let her know you love her and no dark days are ahead
