Hi ^^
Sweet no matter how many times you do a quote from the bible an atheist is someone that does not believe in God so there for to pull things out of the bible wont persuaded them or change their thoughts. They are a godless people and to pull from this might ignite a fire and back fire in your good cause.
Bless your heart for caring about others and their souls. But allot of the true atheist do not even believe they have a soul. Many many of them believe that they are complex electro-chemical process that stops when the meat supporting it stops. When they die end of story end of life.

Some profess believe in nothing. They are Godless big G and little g. They are a being with no soul.

So when it comes to that wonderful quote from the bible put it to your life and your heart. You have not seen yet you believe.
Blessings to you,
Your Sister In Christ

I'm sighing in my head right now for you, John and Miss CSI. You are the reason athiests hate Christians. You may not think you're judging people by saying and doing things like this, but you are. You are looking down your nose at people who don't believe what you do. I believe in God, but obviously not the one you do. You think you're doing something good, but you and people like you give us all a bad name.

If you are trying to convert atheists, give up. The reason why theyy are atheists, is because the atheist ideas make the most sense to them. The reason why you are christian, is because the christian ideas make the most sense to you. Im pretty sure thats what Jesus meant.

Stop with the dishonest strawman arguments. I don't believe reality comes from "nothing" , nor do I believe it comes from gods.

Maybe if you stopped lying about atheists you might understand them more.

Are you kidding?
Of course the bible is going to praise those gullible ones who believe even without a shred of evidence to the existence of any gods...
Duh!

Sounds like something the Ori on Stargate SG-1 teach. Keep in mind they are evil aliens who pose as Gods to get people to worship them through BLIND FAITH.

Apparently it was OK for Thomas to test Jesus, but nobody else. Thomas is special like that.

Seriously though, considering that both Gideon and Thomas were allowed to test God, why do Christians think that "God must not be tested"?

A bit of writing that was written long after Jesus' life ended... while it might work for others to teach them wisdom, altruism, compassion, etc. it's not my cup of tea.

Even if God himself show himself to atheists they will still not believe. People will believe what they want to.
