I think pagans are open-minded people who believe that there are many gods and goddesses. I believe that they are basically good people who are kind to others, who take care of the earth, and who want to make it a better place.
They believe in doing harm to no one.
They love nature and celebrate the changes in the seasons.

I like most of the ones I know. I mean there are jerks and zealots everywhere, even in pagan circles, but most of the Pagans I've known have been okay people.
And yes, you will see discrimination, esp in certain parts of the US.It's usually due to ignorance. People react with anger or fear when faced with things they don't understand. Many people think Pagans are worshipping Satan. (whether they know it or not--since anything that doesn't involve the biblical god, must be the other team) But then again, a lot of those same people would say that Catholics are idol worshippers since they have statues in their churches.
I tend to stay away from fundamentalists who feel like they have to convert me to their way of thinking. I don't really know what category I fit into. I'm ecclectic in what I beleive personally, and feel like what I believe is what *I* believe, and my path doesn't have to be someone else's for it to be valid.

My mate does all that pagan thing now, but I've not seen him in a while. He also sings reggae songs extremely badly on a karaoke machine at the drop of a hat, but I don't think the two are connected.

pagans to me are those that worship something other than God the creator...that does not mean however they have to believe in God of the bible that I worship.
pagans are not atheists and many are rather spiritual in nature and generally pleasing to be around. some do get into "dark" aspects of spirituality...that's their choice...overall i'd give them a thumbs up.

I love being a pagan; but I have learned to be discreet about it. Many people believe we are evil because they are told so.
Wow, just now your first? I'm impressed. You must live in a nice place.

Hi! I'm just going to sit here and see what people say about other followers of my faith.
Also, the whole nasty side of Y!A isn't going to go away, you just have to develop a thick skin, and you know there's always the button when it gets to cruel.

I think Pagan STANDS for devil worshipper. But I would say the general view of pagans is that we are all evil, animal-sacrificing, selfish, disgusting, vampyric people. I know I'm not. I'm a Spiritual Satanist.

Personally, I don't have an opinion on pagans. As long as people are open-minded and don't force their beliefs on me I don't care.
But, I know many people who think pagans are satan-worshippers, evil, gay, or just plain weird.

People think that we're Satan worshippers, or lost, or destined to burn.
