If some of us are heavily in debt or are classifed as high-maintenance, then any job we currently have requires a weekly or monthly paycheck in order to stay afloat from sinking further into debt. On the other hand, anyone who is basically debt-free can be more selective in finding an ideal job since they have the opportunity to move forward and not keep trying to pay off or maintain an unaffordable lifestyle. In other words, people who actually enjoy their job have achieved a certain financial stability well "before" entering the job market. Perhaps it's the confidence gained when obtaining a college degree.
Good luck!

I enjoy mine. I bring home about $1000-$1200 a week, have no boss looking over my shoulder, and get to dress casual every day. And if I decide to quit, I'll have another job the next day making just as much money. What do I do? I drive an 18-wheeler. I have a nice truck with a refrigerator, tv, and microwave, and see the country and get paid to do it. And it only required 8 weeks of schooling at a vo-tech school that cost about $1000 dollars. Compare that to the cost of college, and how much you make when you get out. It's something to think about.

That's a good question. Personally, I hate my day job about 90% of the time (which is a receptionist), but love my other job teaching piano part-time. I hope to bring my teaching job to full time eventually, then I will probably love my job about 90% of the time!
I think most people don't like their jobs. Probably about 60-70 percent of the population.
