Be still, and know that I am God. (Psalms 46:10) God wants us to be still and worship him. How much time do you give Jesus each week? If we truly love something, then it is all we think about. Do you think about Jesus everyday? If not what do you think about. If it is not Jesus, maybe this is your god that controls your life. God is a jealous God. We are not suppose to have other gods in our life. You might say I do not have any other gods in my life. Do you always think about how much more money you can make? Do you come home and go straight to the TV or do you go straight to reading the bible and praying. Do you put your activities first and God second? Are you always telling someone about a possession you have and nothing about God. Do you just want to learn as much as you can about God or do others have to tell you about God? We need to take time to listen, pray, worship, learn, and tell others about God.

*Jesus is our LORD daily to the degree in which we yield moment by moment to His Lordship.*

*"Whatever you{we) do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do all (everything) in the name of the LORD Jesus & in [dependence upon] His Person, giving Praise to God the Father through Him!" Col. 3:17 Amplified

Spending quality time with Jesus our Lord is so...important, for this is how we develop a more intimate relationship with Him-how we grow in Christ. We can not serve two masters: He is first before everything else.

Does not Jesus want to be LORD of our thought-life as Born Again Christians?
As a man thinketh so he is and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Am still a new Born Again believer(6 yrs) serving Jesus Christ-the Living God-as LORD. Am still humbly learning the Word of Truth, not knowing much as most of the Born Again believers do here in Yahoo Q & A.
As I pray, meditate, ponder, think on, study
Col. 3:17 Amplified, then pray again concerning what else the Holy Spirit wants me to do concerning this verse: this is what always comes to mind and to my heart: (am 'only' saying that The Spirit of Truth-the Holy Spirit is telling "me" to apply Col. 3:17 "this" way for me): "Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in your thoughts{my thoughts, my thought-life), your words or deed{actions & re-actions), do ALL (everything) in the name of the LORD Jesus & in [dependence upon] His Person, giving Praise to God the Father through Him!" Col. 3:17 Amplified
It is like the saying, stickers, wrist bands, etc
which say: "What Would Jesus Do?"

*Is time really our time or is it really God's time = belonging to HIM ? God also often brings to my remembrance my children. He says: are these children really your children or MY children? Do you own them or are you their managers, taking care of them, loving them -for a time ? God often reminds me: "I gave them the breath of Life; they are mine - you are to Love and Care for them the way I Love and Care for you."
We are not only servants of God, but also friends of God our Father and Jesus Christ. Makes me think of my relationship with my kids again. At times, I may feel tired: physically, mentally, emotionally - then the test of faith comes: the kids come up to me asking - "Dad, can you please come outside and throw the football around with us OR can we go to the park and play some soccer together?"
Who do I put first? Am I going to live with
"i" as Lord and often say NO when my kids want to spend quality time with me?
GOD loves us so...much and desires His children to spend quality time with Him.
While its true, our life is no longer our own - it was bought with a price-the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross for us - never-the-less HE wishes for us - (the children of GOD) - to humbly & willfully choose HIM because we Love Him.
*The Born Again Christian life really is a Life based on the Grace of GOD, through
"faith" - not feelings and emotions. *The Joy of the LORD which is our strength is not an emotion; but a state of spiritual confidence and renewal based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ & His Holy WORD-the Bible.

**"Jesus Christ-the Word-'is' LORD!"**

it rather is a query for somebody who believes in the two Jesus being God and the existence of Allah. thus far as i recognize, there are actually not any those with such ideals (which might contradict besides). Muslims have not got faith Jesus replaced into God, yet that He replaced right into a Prophet and a guy, so God is limitlesly greater effectual. Christians might have faith contained in the alternative. it fairly is the finished thought of religion - you do not have faith in all of them, you think in what you planned to be the certainty.

I try to. But it's hard. I try to pray to him every day, but then I seem too busy, and God wants us to slow down. I am going to try to spend a minute or so a day. So five, ten minutes a week? I think about Jesus everyday, yes. I should go to my Bible and read it, but instead I go on the computer.

Great question and point. Anything that pulls us away from God is what we are serving. And anything that we are serving is what we are worshipping. That's why the road is hard and narrow because there are so many distractions in this life that try to pull us away from Him. I think I'll get off the computer now and go spend some time with the Lord. Thanks.

In the morning I read my Bible and watch Joyce Meyer (minister) and I just pray and thank God for waking me up that morning and ask that I have a Fabulous day!!!!
Then at night, while l'm laying in bed, I pray that God watches over our house as we all sleep. I pray that He puts thoughts in our heads that are of His nature (so that i don't have some crazy nightmare) and that I'll wake up in the morning and have another Fabulous day!!!!!

No no keep the word of your imaginary friend to yourselves or at least to the other delusional fans. Pray that others follow the word of of it instead of looking for trouble. If we were designed to worship a fictional deity why are we down here doing it instead of in the same area as "he" is? make little sense to me.

I need to more (never enough).
I've never been a big TV watcher. Most of what is on TV isn't worth watching.(I mainly watch news and weather).I do more on YA (mainly R&S).
I read and pray some almost everyday (never enough).
