Of course, members of the KKK are gonna claim to be Christian.
Anyone who has any idea of Who Jesus is, would know better.
You know, Jesus did give us a way to know His disciples...aka Christians...I will quote His Words:
Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
So, it would seem that, according to Jesus (Who ought to know), His followers will have the kind of love He modeled while He was among us...and that the world would know them by their love.
I'd take His Word for it...

What does that prove? Anyone can be a Christian. Personally it isn't for us to judge anyway. Nor should any Christian get upset or offended. Just do what you know in your heart is right. That is all you can do. Lead by example.
The KKK, Hitler I think they have done some very horrible things. Sad someone would use that as an example of other Christians. People seem to only remember the bad things.

Well - I guess the question I have for you is:
As a Christian, what are you going to do about the KKK and other groups that use the name of Christ to allow them to hate?
You see, these are the Christians who are most vocal in many cases. If all the Christians would actually do something to change this, then Christianity would be a religion I could follow. The problem is that it is easier for Christians to sit in the pew with their sanctimonious saved selves than it is to confront the awfulness that exists in their midst.
Sorry, but if you are not doing anything to solve the problem, you are the problem.

well I'd need to see more of the context to say, but what i think there saying is that not all Christians are like Hitler (not christian) and the KKK (is a Jesus themed cult (opposed to a Christ centered relationship), not unlike the Gnostic's) I'll agree plenty of humans have acted humanly and given the church a bad name in the process, i also think that some true committed Christians have some really bad ideas (not excluding me in this statement, but if i knew what my bad ideas were I'd change them) and they call them beliefs, it is our duty as their brothers and sisters to fined loving, nurturing ways to covey truth while not destroying relationships, i hope that kinda answers your question
point 2 both the KKK and Hitler (Rwandas Genocide, and countless other atrocities for that matter) were both based on the idea of social Darwinism, even in his own book Darwin lays out a racial scale, putting Anglo Saxons at the lead, and Africans at the end, citing that the big brained small jawed Anglo was better suited to this new world then his small brain big jawed ancestor the black, where in a world of thinking having big ideas out weighs being able to take big bits", just saying is all, something to think about next time some one starts singing Darwin's praises,

The KKK actually came from the catholic church. The thing about them is, most of them don't even know it. And of course, the catholic's that do know it sure aren't going to admit to it either. "The" reason members of the KKK "claim" they hate the catholic church is to mislead people from believing that they ever came from mama (at least the ones who know were they came from). Hitler was a catholic too. The catholic church use to be willing to admit it up until about 20 years ago. Now they completely deny it.
What people fail to understand is, Hitler was only enforcing "Council of Trent". Simply put, become catholic or died.
“The Secret History of the Jesuits”, Edmond Paris (ISBN: 0937958107).
A catholic newspaper in Spain wrote the following on the day Hitler died:
“Adolph Hitler, son of the Catholic Church, died while defending Christianity. It is therefore understandable that words cannot be found to lament over his death, when so many where found to exalt his life. Over his dead remains stands his victorious moral figure, with the palm of the martyr; God gives Hitler laurels of victory.”
Another good book to read is “Hitler’s Pope: The Secret History of Pius XII,” by John Cornwell.
I personally know some of this to be true because I use to be a catholic myself.

Jesus says that many will claim to follow Him, but in the end He will say that He does not know them. I believe the KKK would fit into that... along with Hitler.

The bible talks a lot about false prophets, and evil men who claim to be Godly.
Yes, the KKK claims to be a Christian Organization. Hitler was baptized a Catholic, and claimed to be one.

A Christian is a follower of Christ...in other words,,,"What would Jesus do" Would he do these things or act this way? Of course not!
These people are what the Bible warns us about... Men who parade around as angels of light when their insides are dark and evil.

The KKK is a Christian organization. It just always has been. The burning cross is meant to terrify people. Look out, the Christians are coming!
