I'm a Christian. My religion is about relying on my faith without needing to see, touch, to have proof other than belief in my heart that God is real. I believe that the Bible can be read in many different ways. Most sins are desirable... that's why they tempt us. The test is to avoid them at the cost of our own pleasure. Doing what's right isn't always fun or easy. The life of a Christian is hard... we're ridiculed and isolated, and sometimes our suffering seems to be in vain... but in the end, it won't be. Eternal bliss is waiting.
And yes, I do believe in Hell, and Satan. That explains a lot of the wickedness in today's world.
I believe what I believe partially because its what I was raised to believe... but also because of what I feel with my heart and soul to be true. As I've become an adult I've read about different religions, and I have some different views from my family... but, I'm still a Christian.

The Bible is 100% true, even down to the mistakes. It is a book written by people who make mistakes with the help of the Holy Spirit that guides both the writer and reader of Scripture. There is a passage (1 Corinthians) where Paul can't remember who he baptized. And another section about staying single where Paul seems to be inserting his own opinion about marriage. I find passages like these comforting, because it lets me know that God understands our fallen human condition and is willing to help us work through it. The whole issue of premarital sex can be difficult. God views sex differently than most people do. For God sex is a very beautiful union between a man and a woman that comes with large amounts of responsibility. Fortunately one of the byproducts of sex is pleasue, the other, just as fortuante, is new life. Sex is the only natural way for human life to begin. Maybe the focus on pre-martial sex shouldn't be the sex, but the pre-marriage. What if in God's eyes sex is what determines who is married, not the formal ceremony at the church or the courthouse?

I think the Bible is true. After all, it was authored by God and is His Word. I believe in hell but it won't be created until Christ comes again. The Bible is 100% true. Premaritial sex is a sin. Sex should be between a married man and woman. I believe because I have been a Christian for 50 years and have proven it to be true. Your desires only last for a season while God's love last forever.

I am not sure about the bible being true or not. When I read the bible, I look for stories and their meanings. I do think it was edited by men who wanted people to behave and wrote about things like damnation, hell, etc. to control the masses.
Personally, I don't believe in hell. I think people make their own hell and likewise, can make their own life more heavenly. I don't believe that having premarital sex would send anyone to hell. However, if you are a teenager, I would caution you to wait and not rush into having sex. Just make sure the two of you really love one another. That takes longer than just a few weeks to know.
Best wishes.

The Bible is NOT one book, but many books with many authors. So it's best to takes each one into account separately. I believe in some Biblical books and not others. One of my biggest beliefs is that sin is only something that causes harm fo some kind to somebody. So unless that premarital sex causes an unwanted pregnancy or what have you, it's fine. That's why I like Karma.
Religion isn't a guilt trip to me, but a way to find peace in this hectic world. There is so much hate and war today, and I try not to contribute to it.

"I believe in God I am just not sure wether I should believe in the bible or not. To me it is just a book written by people."
The writing of man are clever, but they cannot prophesy. You may believe in God. But without the Bible, your god will only be one carved from your own image and not from God Himself. This is called idolotry.

"Some things I would like to hear are wether or not you believe in hell."
http://schnebin.blogspot.com/2007/07/does-hell-exist.html
"if premartial sex is a sin and if it will send a person to hell even i they believe in jesus..."
There are too many errors in this. First, the amount or degree of our sins do not send us to hell. Whether or not we have ALL our sins forgiven by the Savior is what gets our name in the Book of Life or not. And that will be the deciding factor, not our works.
"why do you believe the religion that you believe?"
Because it was free--I did not have to work for it. All I needed to do was believe and receive.
"The main problem i hae with religion is that it seems like one huge guilt trip... "
Most of them are. So in this you are correct. However, remember that just because you look religious on the outside, doesn't necessarily mean you are saved on the inside. Don't forget that this guilt is foisted on people by man. Not Jesus. When I asked Jesus to be my personal Savior, He did not condemn me. He saved me from condemnation!
"I cant fulfill any of my desires without it being a horrible sin."
God only wants what is best for you. You put yourself in danger when you engage in such activity outside of marriage. Why be angry at a father for protecting his daughter?

there are a ton of questions! the Bible is most definetly true! true, it was written by men, but the men were inspired by God! no but u have something wrong. yes premarital sex is a sin but if youve accepted Jesus into your heart and conffesed with your mouth that you are a sinner and he is the true God, you wont go to hell! you dont need to be filled with guilt! God created all of your desires so u dont need to feel burdened! and if u do slip up and sin, you just have to ask for forgivness and he will forgive!

The Bible is not true. Oh you can pluck a verse of wisdom from here and there, and that is what most Christians do. But if you read the entire Bible from beginning to end, with analytical eyes, never will you encounter such a ridiculous book of contradictions, absurdities, atrocities, and outright lies.
The whole premise of Salvationism is for you to suffer in this life, so that you will be rewarded in the next. However, there is no next life. That is the greatest lie that religion has to offer. When you die, you simply die. There is no Heaven. There is no Hell. Both concepts are completely absurd in their own right.

Yes, for the most part the Bible I feel is true. Yes it has been translated many times and changed some times. The basic principles taught in it are true, the writing of Jesus will lead us to him very often. Another book that can be use along with the Bible is the Book of Mormon, it actually teaches many of the same principles, and testifies of your Lord very strongly.
As for so much condmation being found in religion, If you find a people truly trying to follow Jesus, they will be forgiving like he was and is. How would Jesus react to your current sin's? would he say "woman go thy way and sin no more"? Or would he say "stone her"? Find a church that takes forgiveness for real, and that really makes sense of the scriptures, not confusing the doctrine points.
If you have some time check out the LDS (Mormon) church. I have been a member of it for a long time, I have had many calling in the church and really do know the doctrine. I recommend it as God's true church (full of imperfect people). you can look through their web site I included a link in the source list. If you would like to know more you can request through it for missionaries to visit you and give you a copy of the Book of Mormon.
Yes their is a Hell, but few will be sent their, their are several levels of heaven. as the Bible teaches, "in my Fathers house are many mansions, I go their now to prepare a place for you" this referred to many levels of Heaven. We are all children of our Father in Heaven. Jesus really did atone for our sins, he bought us with his blod and through his love we can be saved. I could go on and on, but you are welcome to study this out if you choose.
May God bless you! Don't forget to pray, form your heart.
