Jr. will keep his #8, does this make everybody (Jr. fans) happy?

I'm a loyal Jr. fan, but it really doesn't matter to me what # he drives. Just curious...

Yes it would be great if he can keep it-But what will be the cost to HMS? Teresa isn't going to just hand it over as a "good will" gesture-it will cost them!

However, Teresa should give it to Dale Jr. It was his grandfather's number and it belongs to Dale Jr. It is a family tradition. " Free the 8" have a heart, Teresa!

I personally so not care what number Dale has as long as he is racing. Loyal 4-ever to Jr!

Well people just identify with the #8 and dale Jr. most people can't even tell you who drove it before him and why he drives it. In today's racing drivers are connected to most of there # could you imagine Tony in anything but the 20 or Jeff in anything but the 24 it will be good for most of his fans if he drives the # 8 because junior is the number 8 you see NFL players trying to keep their # so why is it so hard for people to understand that he just loves that number.

All "true Jr" fans who like him for his racing and not his Number..will like him still no matter what car number he drives fro in '08. Why doesn't everyone just relax with the whole thing now..and just wait until Daytona next year and see what is truly gonna happen. It's a Giant Surprise!

Well.. from an "ABS" fan (Anybody BUT Stewart), I'm glad to see Jr and Jeff G teaming up. My loyalties will still remain with Jeff G, however.

It's nice to know the "8" will remain with Jr.... just like the "3" was synonamous with his dad, so "8" is with Jr.

I wish him all the luck, and maybe someday he may start his own team, like his dad.

If he keeps the number 8 it will be much easier for the JR fans to still be a fan of JR if he is on Jeff's team. If he changes him number it will be much easier for me to like JR as I am a Gordon fan...

So keeping the 8 will still allow some of those fans to just bite the bullet and say they are still Jr fans...

I must say I really don't care what number is on the car or sponsor for that matter as long as the car and he are competitive. I would like to see him have the #8 but if he is in the #5 then I will still pull for him as hard as I ever have.
I guess to answer your question I will be happy #8 or not.

If he gets to keep the #8, that will be great.
That number is almost attached to Jr.'s name.
I'd support him either way, but that #8 would make the transition to HMS a little easier for me.

Hi Gloria!! Wow I haven't been on in days and this was the 1st question! Sounds good to me. Like you it doesn't matter to me but I am happy because that means all my 8 stuff is still in style so to speak!
