it's a serious question..why? gluttony is in the 7 deadly sins. Being gay is not..

just because the majority thinks something is wrong doesn't make it so. They thought it was blasphemy to say the earth revolved around the sun. They thought it was wrong that the Wright Brothers built a airplane, they thought if God wanted us to fly he'd of gave us wings..

We do go after all sinners. It is the Gays that scream about it, so they are the only ones you hear. Most other people are smart enough to change or hide what they do when SOCIETY says that it is wrong. If being gay were ok, then why do most religions, not just Christians, disapprove.

It was not Christians that hid the deeds of the priests. It was the leaders of the Catholic churches that knew the truth and hid it. When the non-leaders found out is when the priests started paying for what they did!!!!

By the way, Christians are sinners too. The difference is that we repent, try to not do it again and are going to heaven where we will then be judged.

True...So many Christians definatley are like that. First of all its not up to us to judge others. As Christians we should be the same with everyone. We need to live out what we believe. It does say in the bible that being gay is a sin but it also says that gluttony is a sin. So I guess Christians shouldn't go after gays or gluttons.

This is a joke?..... Hmm. ok.

I'm a Christian and I don't pick at anyone. I have my own beliefs about what's right and what's wrong, but I try not to judge others.... whether they're homosexual or not. Everyone is deserving of love and respect.... that's how Christians should really view *everyone*.

PS... the people putting down Christians are really being narrow minded and hypocritical. Just like sterotyping white, black, gay, etc. you cannot assume that every Christian is the same. I'm praying for you all.

lots and lots of reasons. depends on the attack.
some are obviously homophobic.

some are looking for attention.

some are doing it cause its easy and lazy.

some however are doing it cause they are asking to be married, and are simply responding to this. people really dont seperate the difference between the government giving out a marriage liscence and people truley getting married. marriage is a sacrement such as communion. if a church was to marry same sexes, they would be giving their "ok" for that behavior which most beleive is not something God wants. and that is their right to beleive that. however, when people start attacking them and saying they are worse than any one else in the church, thats when they are wrong. everyone sins, thats obvious, but the church cant have a swingers night just the same as they cant have same sex marriages. they cant (shouldnt) have gambling night or "lets all get drunk" night just the same as it cant have same sex marriages.

oh, and some people are just jerks.

When sinners start organizing and screaming sinners rights and flaunting their vileness in front of children everywhere and trying to teach kids that it's o.k. to sin. We have a problem with that. We are all born sinners ( a gay argument) but we tell people they have to repent of their sin to be born again. The problem with most gays is they want to be excluded from the repentance process. If they would just say "it's wrong but we don't care it would be one thing, but trying to pass it off as a virtue and something to be proud of, that's where we have a problem. Christians by the way do go after homosexual child molesting priests.

Ive noticed that gays like to come on here and ask what Christians think about gays. If they ask they will hear and not like it. Ive never seen anyone say ,Oh by the way I hate gays and they are going to hell. Its not like that at all. Christians love people and hate sin , like God does.

They pick on gays because they (the Christians) believe that is one sin THEY will never commit. And you are right, they do not picket all kinds of other people who abuse their bodies in horrible ways from morbid obesity to unprotected heterosexual sex. They talk about right to life, but don't care about the old and sick-we get discarded. They use the Old Testament to justify their judgement but I don't see THEM following the Kosher laws, washing rules, or consider a menstruating woman unclean and untouchabele. Go figure. Someone must have ripped those pages out of their Bibles.

because everyone's a sinner, and not everyone's a gay...

I personally like gay people, even if I do think it's wrong.

I go to a christian school, and have never seen anyone picket against gay people

I know a gay guy who goes to church.

Because gluttons aren't have marches and petitioning for their right to sin legally. They are not justifying their sin through the secular laws.

Most sinners...know they sin and turn to God for forgiveness. Some homosexuals do not want to be forgiven they want to be exalted in their sin. This is offensive to the rest of us sinners! No one can justify sin...sin by any other name is still sin.
