Why won't my Limewire work on Windows Vista?

I am trying to download Limewire on Windows Vista for my brother and it is not working. It opens the main screen and shuts it off. What can I do?

Java is installed and frostwire did the same thing as limewire. Any other ideas?

If it was originaly meant for the older programs you need to either get a patch for it to work with Vista. Vista also has the ablity to make older programs work the same way Windows XP does.

uninstall limewire and install www.frostwire.com..it is similar to limewire but better.

Do you have Java installed?
