I had my eyes tested back in November and was was given prescription

Right +0.50
Left +0.50 -.0.50 165

One is there really any point in wearing them, i tend to forget. Also these glasses are for short distance stuff, for like reading at school ...
But i have found it hard recently to see road signs, and the board at school and get headaches, is it possible that my eyes could change so much in a small period of time? Also is it possible to be short and long sighted?

It is possible that your eyesight has changed. Try wearing your glasses/contacts all of the time and see if that helps. If you are still having headaches frequently then get your eyes tested. Put them on first thing in the morning and take them off last thing at night. This will help you get used to them and you will be less likely to forget. When I had my first eye exam, just 9 short months later, I was wearing my glasses all the time, and still getting headaches every day. I went to have them tested and needed a new prescription. I have needed to get my eyes tested once a year since then because my eye sight changes that fast. It is possible that you are having the headaches because you need to wear your glasses all the time and are not doing so. I was also having a hard time seeing road signs and if I didn't wear my glasses all day, I would get a headache.

It is also possible that if you wear your glasses all the time that your eyes will correct itself so that you won't have to wear them anymore. This has also happened to my son.

It IS possible to be short and long sighted. If you are a teenager, it is very likely your eyes will change each 6 months or so. If ur getting headaches, it is very likely u need new glasses. Im 13 and my eyes change very quickly, im almost -4 in both eyes, all that in less than 3 years!! U should better go to the eye doctor!
good luck... wear ur glasses all the time so it wont get a lot worse!

It is possible to be both. And vision changes can be slow or fast.

And yes, there is a point to wearing your glasses. Just for ease of reading!
