I don't seem to be getting it right. I have this constant ache radiating from the center of my forehead. What do you do when you have a headache? Have you found any treatment to be really effective for you?

have you seen a medical doctor for this? That would be my first suggestion. They could examine you and possibly find what is causing the problem.

A chiropractor is terrific at helping headaches. They treat the problem without using any drugs. I find chiropractic to be one of the best treatments for headaches.

I use Tylenol tablets for headaches and they work very good for me. For someone else it may not work. I also find that placing an ice pack on the back of the neck for fifteen minutes can stop the pain.

There are many kinds of headache and each can be best adresssed with different treatment options. People often complain of headaches as a result of caffeine withdrawall. If you find you drink coffee a lot, and then didnt drink for the last day and have a headache, there is a good chance you are having a caffeeine withdrawal with a cup of coffee being a remedy for ur headache. Often times people get headaches if they are hypovolemic or hypoglycemic. Correcting this by drinking and eating something will help the pain. Heachaces are often of musculosckeletal etiology. Stretching, warm compresses, and relaxation can help with these. Many over the counter meds focus primarily on treating the pain of the headache which are very effective, and unless because of a strong medical contraindiation, should be used. Of importantnce, if you are having frequent severe headaches, you should be evaluated by a neurologist to rull out the possiblity of something more seirous. Feel better

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

Advil usually helps but for the really bad headaches i use my prescrped 600mg Ibuprofen (Motrin).. which is like 3x stronger than advil. Taking a nap usually makes it go away too, or putting some ice to your head.
