thosands of people getting shot every day ? or why is there a war in they world ?? why doesnt god help these people ? why doesnt he if he is so powerful why doesnt he just make the world better? is it because he is not real maybe ??? im atheist any way but i like to see people explain it to me

There are starving people because those of us who are fat and have more than enough to eat ignore what God said and don't share the excesses that we have with those who have little or nothing. There are people getting shot every day because other people ignore what God said, "thou shalt not kill."
God wants each of us to give up sin and He is there to help us give up sin. But He doesn't MAKE us give up sin because blind and senseless obedience doesn't make for a good, healthy relationship.
He is doing His best to make the world a better place by instructing us how to do it. But we ignore Him.
You say you're an atheist -- if you really believe there is no God, it's up to YOU to feed the hungry, prevent crime, etc. What are YOU doing about it?
Kind of makes you feel helpless, doesn't it? Because you can't do everything. But God can inspire millions of people to do something about it, and then it WILL get done.

God gives us all free will. Where in the Bible does it say God will cure the ills of the world?
As long as man has Free Will, man has a choice to act.
And Science hasn't seemed to find the solution either.
So does that make you question whether science is real?

You are not alone in asking this question. In the Bible, the prophet Habakkuk asked a similar question.(Habakkuk 1:3)
God cares for all of us and hates all suffering and badness more than any of us ever could.(1 Peter 5;7); (Isaiah 55:8, 9)
When Satan tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, he was, in reality, saying that she nor Adam needed to listen to God or let him be their ruler. Satan raised the issue of God's right to rule over humans and called into question the benefits of that rule. (Genesis 3:2-5) God allowed both Adam and Eve to decide who they wanted to serve. They chose Satan's rule. Satan, even today, is still saying that we don't need God's rule. God is allowing mankind to experience all kinds of human rule, or no rulers. When all these have proven inadequate, He will put an end to human rule and put in its place his kingdom by Christ Jesus. (Daniel 2:44) Under this kingdom God will undo all the damage to humans and the earth. People will be brought to perfection. Dead ones will be resurrected. Well if the world was perfect we would not need a Savior. That's why Jesus said the man who is whole does not need a physician but rather the one who is sick.
The world needs Jesus, and it is a result of their failure to acknowledge this why all these terrors and torments are happening to us.
Non of these sufferings were present until Adam the first man had sinned. It is not because God does not exist why we suffer but rather because of our own choices.
The Bible states that whatsoever a man sow that shall he reap. Not to say that some persons are not innocent of the violence or injustice that are being done to them, but rather that another persons choices May cause suffering to many other people.
People need Jesus and until they realize this, i am afraid that things will remain just the same.
If God intervene just now then He would be forced to strip us of our free will. Because our own nature in itself is destructive.

The world would have been a perfect place to live if Adam and Eve hadn't sinned and became spiritually separated from God.
Because it was originally intended to be perfect and was in every way.
But Satan tempted Eve telling her that if she ate the forbidden fruit she would become like God knowing good and evil.
Eve wanted to be a God herself so she gave into temptation and ate the forbidden fruit.
When this happened her husband 'Adam' saw what she had done and because he loved her so much and didn't want to be separated from her he did the same.
When God said the forbidden fruit would kill them if they ate it he meant they would die spiritually not physically and that's exactly what happened to both of them.
Everyone whose born is born spiritually dead because they are descendants of Adam who is also spiritually dead.
Satan has control over these people and they are by nature vulnerable to sin and spiritual attack from Satan.
They do not know God and God does not know them.
That is why there is so much evil in the world.
Because like begets like and only the spiritually dead can give birth to the spiritually dead.
But Jesus was born spiritually alive because his mother was human but his Father is God.
When Jesus sacrificed himself for us he took on the sins of the entire world and was punished for them.
He who was innocent and without sin became guilty so we who are guilty of sin could become innocent.
Jesus died with our sins and was dead but his Father resurrected him and gave him new life just as we who are dead are given new life through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
This had to be done to undo what Satan had caused to happen to us so we could be reconnected spiritually to our Heavenly Father and when this happens we become descendants of Jesus who is spiritually alive instead of Adam who is spiritually dead.
If you are saved and repent of your sins you will be given spiritual life,unconditional love and total forgiveness of all of your sins including future sins as well.
And Satan will no longer be able to claim you and attack you and cause you misery.
Thus the reason why the world is so corrupted is because the people who are doing all these terrible things are spiritually dead and are slaves of Satan.
God loved the world so much that he gave us his only son to be a sacrifice so we could be saved.
So don't blame the atrocities of the world on God blame them on Satan because he's the one causing all of it to happen.
But after everyone has had a chance to be saved and only after that God will destroy Satan and evil will no longer exist.
Then we will go into the new millennium where the world will go back to it's former glory as it was in the Garden of Eden and it will be perfect without war,famine,disease etc.
I know eventually we will live in Heaven with God but I don't know how long the new millennium will last.
I hope the best for you and I pray that your eyes will be opened so you can understand as Satan blinds us to the truth to keep us confused God can open our eyes for us so we can see everything with clairity and understanding.

Well choosing to be atheist and not being educated on the religions you refuse isn't really choosing that.. it's ignorance and lazy and an easy way out.
How do you know God isn't helping them?
