i was a liar...i lie so i can save a relationship...so not to hurt someone i love...a lie that will have no effect on both...the bottom line is, no one is hurt........................until she came into my life...she taught me that truth must prevail...no matter what the consequences are...truth hurts...it does...and very painful too............................ive promised...then i broked it so many times ...but that promise was a simple situation(i guess) but to her is a promise is a promise...if i lied to her, we are still happy....God im so crazy in love with her...but i cant lie anymore because i love her, i told her the truth...that i broke my promise...i did not cheat nor lie...a promise broken betrays the trust given...............and it happen ...the truth separated our ways.................the question is, should i have lied or am i right that i told the truth ?

The trueth! No matter how much the trueth can hurt someone, it's that trueth that will hold them together after the pain goes away. Whatever promise you broke it would have only gotten worse by lying. I am a promise is a promise girl too and I think I would be able to forgive a broken promise with the trueth being told than a lie on top of the broken promise.

Here's the thing...the biggest misconception about lying is that it's sometimes "safe", for a greater good, or to spare someone's feelings...then a situation arises which makes you feel obligated to lie again to keep from being caught in the first lie. It snowballs on you before you know it. And, if as you said the lie will have no impact one way or the other on a particular situation, then why not go with the truth? Then you're doubly sure.

Truth always prevails over a lie, Lying tends to have a snowball effect, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger, etc. Lying shows that you have no integrity and you cannot be trusted. Be glad you told the truth, wearing the title of Liar is not a title that you can easily get rid of.

we all must learn from our mistakes when we make them, once you lie you have to keep on lying, you lie to cover another.the truth hurts, "yes it does"but why would you lie to her if you love her.you have to earn trust and it don't take much to break it.THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.no matter if you lie,it will hurt,no matter if you tell the truth it can still hurt.if you be truthful enough to admit your faults you won't feel so bad about the situation hun,at least you know that you were honest to her and yourself.
