Seriously Ive read and studied the bible many times. I have no clue what you are talking about. Maybe some verse scriptures in an update would help.
The bible doesnt even say hell is a physical place or anybody would go there. It does say Satan would be placed in outer darkness. Im not even sure what that means.
Remember after Satan was Cast Down. God was having a meeting with the angles and Satan showed up and God said hey satan what have you been up too? He talked to God and God talked to him. Even after being cast down he would appear at Gods throan anytime he wanted. Read Job.
I dont understand your question. Your question is pruely based on speculation and not biblical verses. Its like reading harry potter and saying I dont understand the scene where Harry and somebody else went to the bar and got drunk.
You friend says because it never happend. Where did that happen? You are confused as hell because you read the book too and said did you read another book. Thats how I feel right now, I have no clue what you are talking about. It might be in your mind, but I sure as hell know its not in the bible.

Hey,not a bad question coming from an atheist. Let me give it a try. In the first place,I'm well-educated with two degrees so there is no lack of understanding by this Catholic as to the proper and rightful meaning of omni-anything,ok? I think rather you exhibit that typical atheist tendency to misperceive spiritual qualities in materialistic terms. God is not a physical entity; he is everywhere at once. He hears and knows all, including the content of perdition. He is aware of everything that takes place. He is not a unit that needs to move itself around, any more than CBS needs to go from door to door with an individual tv so you get a chance to watch tv for a while. It broadcasts into every receiver. Some are on. Some are off. But the signal is always there. To me an atheist is a receiver that something has switched-off. God is present in hell as he is present everywhere. He doesn't go there. He doesn't go anywhere, since He doesn't need to; He is reality and all reality is Him. These are not actually difficult concepts - except for a gross materialist. Atheism and materialism are synonymous in philosophy. So your question doesn't even really apply. A materialist construct doesn't work into a metaphysical model.

The Bible does not teach that God is omnipresent.
"The God that made the world and all the things in it, being, as this One is, Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade temples." -Acts 17:24
"you [God] must also hear from the heavens, your established place of dwelling, their prayer and their request for favor, and you must execute judgment for them" -1 Kings 8:49
When Jesus was baptized God spoke from the heavens, because that is where He resides. (Matthew 3:16, 17)
The Bible teaches that God lives in the spiritual heavens (Psalm 11:4). From there he can see all things. Since he is a Spirit, he does not have a physical body and therefore is not limited by physical eyesight. Eagles have better vision than humans do, being able to spot a mouse from a mile away. Would God create a bird that thas better vision than He does? God sees all things (Psalm 33:13; Hebrews 4:13)
As for hell, it is not a literal place where people are literally burned forever. Rather, hell is simply the grave. 'The dead are conscious of nothing at all' says Ecclesiastes 9:5. Jesus illustration of a fiery "hell" (original Gehenna word in Greek) is a symbol of everlasting destruction.
"in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength." -2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9

Hell can be defined as a place without God. So God is omnipresent except where he's not, which is hell. The Bible doesn't even talk about hell. Funny.

omnipresent doesnt mean he is physically every where. it means his spirit is in every one, so he is, in a sence of the word everywhere, but when people go to hell god is not present anymore. and they go to hell because they did not choose Jesus as their lord and savior.

it probably comes from that parable of the rich man and the poor man that says there is a gulf between heaven and hell that neither can cross.

They don't claim that. God would have to be ever present. Show me a biblical verse stating otherwise.
