out of his league???

Question

Ok, so this guy likes me (and I like him too) but he is really shy around me because he thinks I am "out of his league"

What does he think of me??? Why would he think that??
Why would I guy think a girl is out of his league???
What can I do to show him I like him and totally want him?

Sounds to me like not only is this guy shy, but also lacking in the self esteem department. If he thought more of himself he wouldn't be having the whole "she's out of my league" issue. All you can do is flirt with him and give him OBVIOUS signals that you're definitely interested.

First, make him feel comfortable around you - like a friend. Have casual conversations about anything: news, music, his opinions on certain things, your opinions on certain things, family issues or events, etc. Ask him if he would like to go to movie or to the park for a walk. And later, tell him why you like him or why you're interested in him. But by then, you should be friends anyway and he'll know what kind of person that you really are and that you're a "down-to-earth" girl that he can relate to.

What do you mean"out of his league" and how do you know he feels that way.Anyway, you don't have a difficult issue. This is a classic"boy likes girl, girl likes boy ;but boy is too shy to talk to girl".So girl would just have to talk to boy first.It is alright for a girl to approach a guy first these days; so the next time you are able to talk to him privately, let him know how you feel.then it is up to him at this point to continue what you have started. He thinks you're out of his league because he's a little insecure around women. Especially beautiful women at that! He DOES like you if he said those words to you. Just be patient with him, he will come around once he sees that you are truly into him as well :)

Well he thinks you are out of his league possible for a few reasons. You are his first girlfriend; You are extremely hot and attractive (most likely *wink wink*); or he doesn't feel comfortable around your more popular friends. I would recommend just talking to him more and if you want to show him you want him just take him to a realy quiet dark place and let the sparks fly!

You need to just build his confidence. It sounds like he really digs you and you have some great qualities that he thinks hes not worthy of. Just stroke his ego and make him feel like you are "in his league" and hopefully he will realize b/c guys that act like that are hard to be in a relationship with. Trust me I know.
