The guy is meant to be immortal, I have looked down my own trousers, That guy has a sense of humour.

I think God welcomes fun. If we are, indeed, created in God's image, then why is it we all love to laugh and make fun of ourselves and each other? I'm not talking about mean-spirited joking, but good-natured ribbing.
If God didn't want there to be fun in life there wouldn't be so many opportunities to have it. And I'm not even talking about sex here...
There seems to be this idea that God is a huge Emily Post in the sky wearing white gloves, frowning down on everything and everyone. "Oh, dear, that is so distasteful. My, my, I'm going to have to send you to the eternal fire for that one..." Is this what the all-powerful creator of the universe would say? I really doubt it.
There also seems to be this idea that God is fragile and can be so easily bruised or hurt. Like that whiny rich kid tattletale that always would run to tell on anyone who did anything even slightly rambunctious. (I'm thinking of the rich brat in Pee-wee's Big Adventure) Seems that kind of 'I'm going to tell!' does nothing but garner resentment and contempt.
No, I think God has a tremendous sense of humor. Like a favorite uncle who always brings you really interesting presents and talks to you like you matter. The one who always laughs at your jokes and makes you laugh, too. If there is an anthropromorphism of God, this is the one that works for me.

As an atheist and not believing in god making fun of him is sort of like making fun of the lochness monster or the yeti or any of the other imaginary beasts that people believe in or make up. he might as well be Hercules or Zena. I don't see that making fun of god is a productive activity, it upsets those who do believe in him, and everyone has friends who believe, and is it worth losing friends over something like this. Early on I was told by my parents that there are some subjects that you just don't discuss, religion and politics. And I believe that to this day. These are ideals that are individual and nobody should try to change anyone else.

I think it depends on whether the intent behind the humor is pleasant or malicious. I think God, like most people, can take a joke in good humor, but can't stand being made fun of as a put-down.

It depends on the making fun. Most of what I see on here is blasphemous mockery. That my friend is a sin. God bless!!

I would like to think God has a since of humor. After all look at some of the animals he created. Not only that but take a look at feet. I think their funny looking, especially mine. I think it would depend on how it was done and to what extent.

If you truly do not believe in G-d, then how could you "rib" him?
The speech of men reflect the state of their hearts: "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned" (vs. 35-37). Have your words gotten you into trouble lately? Have you found recently your mouth to be uncontrollably speaking evil? Do not dismiss such lapses as merely "careless words", for "out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." Rather, seek help from the Lord, by His Spirit, to heal your heart, and purify your mind, so that what comes out of your mouth may be pure grace.

I guess it would depend on the type of ribbing it is.
BUT,
I sure would not even attempt such a feat.

I don't think we should make fun of God and as the Bible says, Don't take His name in Vain" God is the King of heaven and earth, show respect to our majesty and almighty king.
