I think it's great. Stay out of concourses and shopping centers so the cops don't beat you up and go for it!

I'm 25 and doubt i'll really ever stop skateboarding until I absolutly have to. I know of a 56 year old grandma that was skateboarding so you're not alone thats for sure, and look at a lot of the pro skateboarders a lot of them are well into their 30's. Look at tony hawk he's 39 and there's a lot more older than him and still skateboarding. The best thing is being with your son and doing it, I can't wait till mine is old enough to get on a board so we can skate together. I say do it and you won't look like a fool.

Its good excersise and you get to spend time with your son. That is not wierd at all, i mean look at Tony Hawk he is like 37 and sk8bording.
