A professional wax job.
For a nice home remedy, use Noxzema Bikini Shaver with aloe. It's small and minimizes irritation. Also, let the shaving lotion marinate for a couple of minutes so it will be soft.
Don't use Nair down there. It smells like perm and it burned me on the leg. I'd hate to see what it does to your private area.

I suppose there are 3 ways, depillatory (such as Nair), shaving, and waxing. Plus, maybe laser removal for permanent results? From my experience having other body parts waxed, I think I would sooner burn the hair off than do it that way! However, if you can take it, that's the best, longest lasting way. Shaving is quick and relatively easy, but your hair starts growing back within a day or so, and that itches like crazy, I only did that once! That leaves Nair. It's fairly easy, but sometimes won't dissolve the hair completely, because it's so coarse. It can also cause irritation on that delicate area. I just use a bikini trimmer and trim my hair short. That's hygienic enough for me, and don't have the constant hassle of upkeep. Just have to do it every now and then. That's my best suggestion!

Ok im not a lady but i've read up on this stuff. The best method is usually waxing, by doing this it will take longer to grow back and it won't be as rough as it was if you continue to do it. Don't ever shave though, that's the worst thing you can do. Then you could go for the electro removal which is expensive but permanent so either one of these is the way to go.

If you want long-term results, waxing is the way to go. I waxed last summer so I'd have a worry-free vacation in Hawaii, but the process is too painful for me to personally do on a regular basis. In fact, I don't see it happening ever again. Shaving works, but you have to keep it up. I use a combo of an electric shaver and a regular razor. Wow, way too much info for strangers on the Internet. :)

Waxing! Painful, yes - but lasts longer than shaving because the hair is being removed from the root.

get a Brazilian wax. doesn't hurt all that much I'm Brazilian and do it every time i need to. plus shaving leaves all those bumps and makes the hair very thick. and waxing lasts longer trust me on this. Brazilians are professionals on this.

a razor will keep it away for a few days while as waxing will keep pubic hair away a lil longer

Waxing. A little bit of pain for good long-term effects.
