LOL...do you know that there are many things that simple aren't explainable, because they don't fit into human explanation. Therefore, according your logic, if it doesn't fit to any logical explanations, it doesn't exist. and you people call themselves open-minded :) nice try

So you're saying "it doesn't fit into human explanation, so here's the correct explanation, folks...".

By my logic, you're claiming to be something other than human, or perhaps you're just so hopelessly confused that you have no chance of ever seeing the giant gaping holes in your narrow-minded little argument.

Nope, I never called myself open minded. I could be presented something written by a god, with various legal documents signed to say so, and I'll still claim that it was a fake.

Because not believing in a god or an afterlife validates this one, makes my actions here matter a lot more. If I believed I'd live forever or get more than one shot, I wouldn't do everything I do here.

Its not because it has explanation, its because it has no proof. That's why its considered illogical. There are other things that we can't fully explain, but logically they are correct.

Do you believe in the sanctity of life for other animals besides humans? Do you believe in dignity for other animals besides humans. You seem like a reasonable person, and I agree with everything you say except for the sanctity part, and I would not discriminate against the other animals. D2True – Can you prove the first premise of you cute little syllogism? You can’t, therefore your logic is extinct. I believe that you do have the discipline and morality to give up, or at least cut back on animal products. Read a book called “Animal Liberation,” and you may have a change of heart. If not for the animals, do it for your own health. Study up on what is in the food you eat, and how it got onto your plate. It’s pretty disgusting. Without going on a rant for vegetarianism, I’ll just say that you would be surprised at how delicious and nutritious tofu can be made. If you weren’t told, you would be unable to distinguish it from real meat.

No, according to our logic, if something doesn't currently fit into a logical explanation, it will eventually if we continue to observe it and look for a proper explanation, rather than giving up trying to find out a proper answer and just saying "Goddidit."

Even if we don't know the answer to something, it doesn't mean that there isn't a rational explaination to be found, if you would spend the time to research it instead of turning to the bible for your answers. Remember, there was a time when humans didn't understand fire also. So to say that just because we currently don't have an understanding of something, it means that it was the work of God is just ridiculous.

What? That doesn't even make sense. Was that a question?

Exactly what isn't explainable? Give an example? Just because you don't know the explaination doesn't mean there isn't one.

According to my logic, if some one makes up a story that doesn't make the least bit of sense, and doesn't provide evidence, I don't believe it.

No. What we think is that there is a logical explanation for anything that is real. You just have to look instead of wildly jumping to conclusions.

Not knowing something doesn't automatically make it magic. That type of thinking is what lead to illness being called demonic possession.

Gosh Steve, have you gone from attempting a rational discourse to personal insults in a single day?

There are lots of thing which do not have a rational explanation. It's pretty reasonable that I don't believe in most of those. What's your point, besides a desired to attack those who disagree with you?

It's easier to say, "I don't know how this happened... It mustve been God" than to read science texts and try to understand the nature of the physical world. Science has the burden of proving what it says constantly while religion simply says, "this is true because my book says it is". You obviously have no understanding of what "logic" is.
