Don't you realize that they are running away from the extreme poverty caused by the blockade?
Same with Mexico... The USA won the Mexican-American war... doctrine monroe... Guadalupe Hidalgo Treaty...The USA controls Mexican economy... If the USA helps Mexico to have a sane and better economy Immigrants wouldn't need to emigrate ilegally!!!!!
besides that corruption exists in both sides....
So... as long as you refuse to understand that...you will keep being stuck in your own ignorance.

I hate t osound rude , but that really isn't our problem. I doubt they are at home tryng to figure out how to help us. We have our own poverty and problems and thus we need to focus on that first.

I am not concerned that they are deported back to Cuba given that they are being treated equally by US immigration law.

This response flies in the face of reality in that if they (Cubans) set one foot on US soil, they are granted residency.

The blockade is one of this country's most horrific, failed policies ever to be adopted and maintained. It should be abolished immediately.

The US does not control the Mexican economy. However, our country's economy does have an important effect on Mexico's economy.

I dont feel good about Cubans being deported because they are coming in as illegals into the United States... Its not fair. I just think that if people are trying to escae their countries is because they need a better life than they have so they dont end up dying... and being unhappy. I think it is the same for any other country as well. It is so hard these days to become a citizen.... I dont understand why the president cannot help them and not support them but at least encourage them to have a better l ife, because without immigants in this country... things would be WAYYYYYY different...
I definatly agree with you. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

I do feel bad for them.

I have much more sympathy and empathy for the Cubans, than the illegals coming out of Mexico.

Because the citizens of Cuba cannot rise up against Fidel while the Mexican illegal immigrants could very well change their government. Two totally different circumstances.

The Cubans are done differently, the for cubans is if they reach the America then they automatically become US citizens. That is why they risk their lives to leave Cuba.

I feel sorry for the Cuban immigrants. They're trying to escape from a horrible communist leader. As for Mexico, Mexicans aren't entering this country to escape communism. They're entering this country to commit more crime, smuggle drugs, take jobs away from the American people, and receive benefits from the government. Let the Mexican government take care of their own people. We have to take care of ours. Yes, there are Mexicans and other than Mexicans (OTM's) who enter this country for work and to support their familes. However, there's a right way and a wrong way. They should've entered this country legally. Than, I or anybody else, wouldn't have a problem with them.
