I've been learning a lot about Christianity, and now I want to learn more about Judaism, but I'm looking for "reliable sources".
I've found a couple of websites, but I want "Reliable ones".

A good one with a good library of books, both advanced and basic, plus easy to follow explanations of festivals etc is http://www.chabad.org The aish web site http://www.aish.com is excellent, it also has an audio downloads section with a lot of lectures on the basics.
Keep away from "Messianic Jewish" sites, "Hebrew Christians", "Jews for Jesus", "Completed Jews" and the like. They are all merely Christian sects, not Jewish at all.

The Old Testament is a good place to start. Read it as if there was no New Testament and you will begin to understand it.
If you read the first five books (Genesis-Deuteronomy) you will find the essence of Judaism. The Jews know this as the Torah ("Law" or "Teaching"). This forms the basis of all Judaism.
Much more interesting, however, is the rich cultural/mystical heritage known as Kaballah. You will find three primary texts on this: the Sefer Yetzirah (Book fo Creation, which deals with the nature of God and His creation of the Universe), the Bahir (Book of Illumination) and the Zohar (Book of Splendour).
They will blow your mind with their genius and beauty. Websites won't replace reading the Torah & the Kaballah.

www.jewfaq.org should be all you really need
Don't go to the sidroth site. Messianic Judaism is not accepted as a form of Judaism by any of the major affiliations of Judaism.
Some of the things on that website are outright lies

www.jewfaq.org is very good, very complete.
www.beliefnet.com is also very good, and they offer a Jewish newsletter with daily Torah readings.
Or, you could email me. I am Jewish and would be willing to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

Sid Roth can give the information I believe you are looking for if you would like to check his site out at
http://www.sidroth.org
click on excusive articles and resources and there are several articles that might give you some insight
He is a Messianic Jew, in other words a Jew who has accepted Jesus Christ as his Messiah, so he knows both Christianity and Judaism
His story is in the site etc:
Hope you enjoy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judaism
http://www.jewfaq.org/index.htm
http://www.aish.com/
these are the best i can think of for someone who isn't jewish, and who therefore has no background (the aish site will probably be 'rough going' but it's the best of the three)
