Think about it. Religion has never had a problem with murder or violence. It's been built on a foundation based on violence. Theres a chuck full of violence in the Holy Books. People have persecuted, tortured, and burned. More people have been killed in the Name of God than anything else...BUT that was a long time ago and most people have come to their senses. But there's still that small group of lunatics (ex. The Evangelicals, The Jesus Camp People, That idiot spamming Crusades on the R&S Board) I'm not sure they even take the 5th Commandment SERIOUSLY...I have no problem with Religion in General but the more Devout people are the more ~Reasonable~ murder seems. It's like Negotiating with God. It just depends on who does the killing and whose getting killed. There's that mentality that's like "Jesus will Reward me for killing this Pagan". It's basically Justifying Murder...how do you deal with people like that...? I want to send them Crashing back down to Reality...

I feel I must debunk you myth.

In fact, in the XXth Century, more people has been killed as a consequence of the Godless ideologies of Communism and Nazism than by the three great monotheistic religions together.

In example, from 1900 to 1987, the total of people murdered by Communism has a total mid-estimate of about 110,286,000 people...

"How can we understand all this killing by communists? It is the marriage of an absolutist ideology with the absolute power."

It reminds me of those horror movies from the 1970's where there's a whacked out religious cult (or devil-worshiping cult, they both behaved the same way) that's terrorizing people. (Rosemary's Baby--movies like that. There was a ton of them out in the 70's.)

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

Killing them in the name of peace for humanity seems like a good idea to me.

It's fairly impossible to deal with people like that. And yes, they are getting crazier.
