1. The opposite of any topic is still a part of the topic. We offer balance.

2. Theist love to ask us all sorts of questions. It would be rude not to respond.

You are definitely in the running for dumb post of the day award. Not only is this post meaningless drivel, but it has been posted a dozen times before and so is not even original. I guess that I should not hold that against you, however, as christians are not allowed to come up with anything original. They just make the same old lame arguments that christians have made since their beginning.

I'm not an Atheist and drinking is a sin. The Holy Bible says "Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging. Whoever is deceived by it is not wise". Proverbs 20:1. Christians still have an obligation to tell all Atheists about Jesus and his love and grace whether they choose to accept the message of salvation or they may choose
to reject it and face the eternal Judge in the judgement. James 2: 10-12.

I'm here because I know that religion has been undermining human civilization for thousands of years. People who know how to think properly have a moral obligation to protect humanity from the willfully ignorant among us who would happily destroy human civilization for the sake of validating their insane Armageddon prophecy. Religion is incontrovertibly evil and must always be opposed by those who love truth and justice -- it's as simple as that.

Just because I don't believe in an omnipotent creator being, and see that the concept of such is illogical doesn't mean I've not studied a few religions in significant detail and... (drink) freedom of speech still exists, much to the dismay of many.

Drink up!

I'm here to answer questions. Have you noticed that big sign on the upper left corner of the screen? The one that says "Yahoo! Answers"?

I don't know what would make you think that atheists are here to make people mad. We're answering questions honestly. It's the Christians (and sometimes the Muslims) who seem to think that this is a site for insulting and lying about others.

perhaps being humans and not just atheist means more than anything else - it is a search for truth they are after. and atheism is associated with religion is it not?.. therefore here is the place they are most likely to find questions for them to be passionate about.
