How much alcohol are we talking here? And what is the pre-existing condition of your liver?
If we are talking half a glass of wine and you are a 150 lb person who is otherwise healthy, then it is usually fine, as long as the antibiotic you are taking does not warn you against drinking any. Usually those warnings are because the antibiotic is broken down in the liver, where alcohol is also broken down. If you already have a compromised liver... well, you can see where this is going.
It is best to not drink anything but hydrating fluids while you are ill... Alch will dehydrate you, so I do not recc. it .
But is it dangerous? I think the answer is that it is antibiotic and patient dependent and needs to be answered by your personal health care professional on a case by case basis.

The alcohol will cause the antibiotic to be less effective or completely ineffective. This can result in the bacteria that you're trying to kill adapting to the antibiotic by mutating and becoming resistant to that antibiotic.

It is in my opinion dangerous to drink alcohol at any time.
As far as I'm concerned anything that can cause an altering of ones perceptions of reality needs to be avoided.

insofar as the alcohol will destroy the antibiotic, so the infection the medication is taken for will be able to continue to grow unchecked, yeah, it's dangerous.
