He doesn't get a SSDI check? Is he ELIGIBLE? Did he PAY IN?

Most of the time, when a disabled person does NOT get SSDI, it's because they didn't pay in. Either he always worked under the table, he didn't work long enough to qualify for benefits (40 of the last 60 quarters before the disability began), he's an immigrant who isn't eligible, or his illness isn't "disabling" enough.

You might get a better answer if you said where his disability checks are coming from.

sounds like state disability, not federal.Federal is based on the recipients net worth and what has been paid into his SSI account.your joint net worth could be the reason.

you should get a lawyer or someone to represent your case. Do you have one already?
