we like healthy employees and need a reason we can fire her. Please help. Thanks

I bet if you checked you probably have diabetes. Or at least the on-set of diabetes.

You can't. If you're in America it's illegal to fire/ discriminate employees with physical dissabilities. Diabetes would fit into that rule. However, if she is not able to perform her job correctly, you can fire her on those bases. I wouldn't mention again that you have a problem with her diabetes, you're just asking for a law suite.

You can't fire her for the diabetes. Only for the related reasons; poor attendance,bad hygiene or some safety issue. This disease is very common in the workplace. All employers must use caution before making harsh decisions.

Why would you fire her just because she has diabetes? They are normal people like you and me. If diabetes is the only reason that you are firing her, then I don't see why you would want to. It seems that she has done a fine job and that is the only reason that you feel unsatisfied.

Just because someone has diabetes does not mean they are not healthy. Many people suffer from diabetes.Please remember this, you reap what you sow. This will all come back to you 100 fold if you fire her

You are about the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen on this site. I can only hope that you do try to fire that lady only so she can in turn sue your company for everything it has.

I`d hate to be one of YOUR family and get sick ! I`ll bet you make your wife fill out a time sheet for housework .......... am I right ? And the kids ? Ran away from home when they were 9 ?
I don`t blame them !
If you`re lucky , maybe you can not only fire the old lady , but screw her out of her pension too ?

You need the help. You can't fire people based on disabilities. What if it was your grandmother or your mother? Don't take your own good health for granted--it can be taken from you in a car accident on your ride home this afternoon.

Please.. don`t do that.. i see many things happen to a person.. & it companys which they fire the.. week 1.. it true what come round go round.. the person end up with unbelieveable illness.. get fire.. & the companys go bankrup.. give some mercy.. to a person.. & your life will become more healthy & wealthy.. this is not just my saing.. but already example trugh genarations..
