I've gone out with this guy 5 times. Ladies, what do you do to get the guy to want to be more serious? Like to become exclusive or boyfriend/girlfriend.

You don't wanna push it that's for one thing because that might freak the guy out and you don't want that to happen ('cause they can move away if things get bigger too fast).

Let me tell you something - Guys are the most clueless and lost beings on this earth; you could hold up a sign saying, "I'm interested in you", and they wouldn't even notice (it took my man 6 months to finally figure I was interested in him, but that's a different story). You have to be persistent, but not pushy. Give him signs that you want to move things up a notch (try to hook up together more often, look into his eyes more, smile more, try to do activities where you have to be in closer body contact like rock climbing where he has to help you up to the top and help you get ready if you're "not sure" where this buckle goes for the equipment, try to go to places where you guys are alone - allowing more intamacy and all his attention will be on you), but don't get crazy...lol....save that for when the time comes.

You need to be seeing your lover more often if you want things to deepen and the relationship to grow up to a higher level of intamacy. It doesn't just happen after going on a date with him 5 times. If you're interested in a deep relationship (if you're serious about this guy) try to spend more time with him, quality time. Find interests you both have and try to apply that to the time you guys share together - it'll make it more worthwhile and fun. The most important thing of all is to talk. If you don't talk you won't get anywhere (anywhere you want to be that is). Also don't be discouraged if it takes time, that's the whole point of what I'm writting to you.

You won't be in his arms or in his bed until things strengthen in this relationship.

Sometimes it takes a year, sometimes 10 either way it takes time. Be nice, be yourself, and have fun. Let time take it's tole and you'll see things will get more deeper.

Btw, just because you want it badly now doesn't mean you'll always want or even want it later - things change, people change, situations change. Be flexable and open-minded.
